The house is located about 50 meters higher than the lake. Can be reached via a wide asphalt road that is not steep. From the complex you have a breathtaking unobstructed view of Lake Iseo and the world-famous Monte Isola (which is Europe's largest island in a lake; 9 km circumference; car-free ). You also have a perfect unobstructed view of the other islands in the lake: Isola di Loreto and Isola di San Paolo.
Compared to busy lakes such as Lake Garda and Lake Como, this is a relief . The lake is 65 kilometers around and you will discover the real Italy .
Casa Lago is part of a quiet apartment complex. All other owners are almost all (older) Italians who stay there occasionally.
The apartment was built in 2010 and has a luxurious finish and the kitchen is fully equipped.

In 2016 there was a 'front row' view of the world-famous artwork Floating Piers : this was a temporary artwork, on the water of Lake Iseo, by Christo, consisting of 70,000 square meters of yellow fabric, supported by a modular floating dock system of 226,000 high-density polyethylene cubes.
You can fly to our house at Bergamo Orio al Serio with, for example, Ryanair. The airport is only half an hour away (by car) from our house!
The village has 2,500 inhabitants and all amenities can be found in the center: bakers, butcher, supermarkets, 3 bars, 4 restaurants, hairdressers, doctor, pharmacy and tobacco. The center and the nearest beach are less than 5 minutes from our place. You can also walk there on foot.
There are numerous (sports) activities possible around the lake: cycling, cycling, mountain biking, walking, golfing, kayaking, sailing and in winter also skiing.
Shopping and visiting cities , it's all within reach. Franciacorta Outlet Center (20km) has 140 shops with the best-known brands and real outlet prices. The Elnoss indoor shopping center near Brescia is also great, hundreds of shops, a 45-minute drive away. As well as Orio Center; hundreds of indoor shops near Bergamo airport.
We are Dutch owners and have local help from Lara (an Italian lady who lives nearby). She will receive you on site upon arrival and show you the way. Naturally, we are and will remain available to guests at all times if they have any questions.

NB:
- Our house is not suitable for the disabled and is not equipped for babies (although there is a high chair).
- You reach the house via a staircase, so if you have difficulty walking, this may not be pleasant.
- There is a garage available, but it is quite narrow (2.5 meters). You can park freely in three different places directly around the house.
- The swimming pool has no fence. If you come with children without a swimming diploma, parental supervision is required at all times.
