Chalet for rent at Lake Lugano

We rent chalet Rotterdam 1 directly on Lake Lugano at the International Camping in Porlezza. You will experience a wonderful holiday in Italy in a beautiful area with lakes and mountains. The chalet is fully furnished and is located on the edge of the lake. Ideal for a holiday with (small) children. The campsite has many facilities such as a large swimming pool with three slides, tennis courts, playground for the little ones, beach bar, restaurant / pizzeria and a supermarket.

- The chalet has a spacious porch that can be sealed with transparent sailcloth so you can always sit outside.

- In addition to the chalet, the car can be parked.

Surroundings:
Porlezza - Within walking distance of the campsite you can reach the supermarket and to restaurants and bars. On Saturday there is a market on the promenade.

Lugano City - Beautifully located on the lake, with a beautiful stretch of boulevard. The city itself is built against the hills / mountains: you will find a separate train which brings you from the city center towards the higher central station.
Lugano is mainly a shop town: nice expensive stuff in abundance!

Lago di Lugano - On the lake, various boat trips can be made. From Gandria to Lugano city and return, but also from Lugano city itself to various destinations (including Ponte Tresa via Little Switzerland and Morcote).

Menaggio - This beautiful village is situated on Lake Como. Here you can enjoy ice cream on the seafront along the lake and there are great restaurants.

Castello - Direction of Switzerland and for the 2nd tunnel, turn right into the mountains. If you can not drive further, you have to walk to this place with old houses close to each other. On the way you will also come along a brook where you can take a dip.

Gandria - Gandria is just across the border with Switzerland. Take left parking and follow the signs with Sentiero dell'Olivo. This is a mile long path along the lake. Great for walking, but you can also go for a walk with a few good climbs.

Monte Bré - Near Lugano you can ride the mountain with a racing track.

Monte San Salvatore - Also near Lugano (Paradiso) you can take a racing track to the top of San Salvatore for a unique view of the lake and the Swiss Alps!
There is a panoramic restaurant next to a small museum. From there are also walking possibilities.

The Cave of Rescia - Lies right here around the corner: drive off the camping, turn right towards Osteno and you will come across this.

Shoko-Land Museum
In Caslano is the famous Alprose chocolate museum. Here you will be told in detail how the chocolate has emerged and through history has become the current production strip.

Lago di Como - This beautiful lake can be visited in several ways: by car and by boat. Or a combination of this.

We find the boat trips very enjoyable: from Menaggio there are many different departures.

Shopping Center Lugano-South - Here you can shop indoors: Media-Market, Ikea, Conforama and a Coop. What you'd already wanted to buy at home, but no time for it, you can buy all here.

Milan - City of World Allure: Now you happen to be in the neighborhood, just visit! Can be reached by car over the motorway about 90 kilometers from the campsite (toll road, credit card, Visa).
