Butterfly farmhouse

Welcome to the Butterfly Farm.
This detached and secluded holiday farm is located on a small hill surrounded by forest. From the vine-lined garden terrace you have an unobstructed view of the beautiful hilly landscape of southern Hungary. The house is in a quiet location on the edge of a tiny village (100 inhabitants) in the attractive wine region Villány - Siklos, has no direct neighbors and is fully equipped. Layout:
The living area of approximately 65 m² is on one level and is divided as follows: a hall / entrance with seating area; a spacious living room with a sitting area with a double sofa, 2 armchairs, satellite TV, DVD player, game console and a single sofa bed; a bedroom with a double bed (140x200); a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, oven, kitchenette, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and dining area and a bathroom with sink, toilet, walk-in shower and washing machine. The house is heated with gas heaters. The living room and bedroom have ceiling fans.

Outside:
The partly enclosed garden with sun terrace and shade pavilion offers a lot of privacy and an unobstructed view of the surrounding natural landscape. Garden furniture, barbecue and table tennis are available. Optionally you can use a three-person jacuzzi that can be heated to 40 degrees. Wonderful to cool off during the day and relax under the starry sky in the evening. If you wish, you can park your car in the covered carport at home.

Particularities:
Please note that the holiday home is only accessible via a semi-paved, easily accessible road (approximately 75 meters).

Location:
The simple farming village of Klein Budmer, located in the beautiful Villány - Siklos wine region, has a 17th century church with old frescoes and a bus connection to larger villages and towns. Every morning the baker comes by with fresh bread. For other things such as restaurants and supermarkets, go to the larger towns of Villány and Bóly (where a tourist information office is also located). The area is easily accessible by bicycle via a marked, panoramic 'wine cycle route' on a separate cycle path with beautiful views. The route leads past numerous wine cellars and restaurants where you can taste excellent local wines and dishes for a friendly price.

Sights:
In the vicinity there are several wonderful thermal baths (with free sauna, indoor and outdoor pools), a large swimming lake with water park (Orfü), the beautiful Mecsek Mountains and an activity park (Mecsextrem). Day trips to the touristy Lake Balaton, enchanting Budapest and the nearby neighboring country of Croatia are also easy to do from here. The beautiful, culturally rich provincial capital of Pécs is only a 30-minute drive away. The well-preserved castle of Siklos with an interesting museum within the medieval walls is also worth a visit. There are numerous other attractions in the area. In this approximately 100-year-old holiday farm, which has been respectfully restored, you will experience the atmosphere of authentic Hungary, but with the ease of use and comfort of today. With the bicycles available, you can explore the picturesque surroundings in a relaxed manner and taste the many good wines in one of the numerous wine cellars along the wine cycle route that runs past the holiday home. Due to recent improvements to the highway infrastructure, the house is also easily accessible (10 minutes from the Boly exit on the Budapest - Pécs highway). Own transport is recommended for accessibility of this accommodation.
