It is set in a garden with palms, olive trees, orange trees and further Mediterranean vegetation. The house offers a wide view over fields to the sea to the opposite coast of Arkadia.
The house is located on the edge of the village of Iria. The village square is a 10-minute walk away; there you will find 2 tavernas, eg the village butcher (who takes care of his business very well) who also runs a restaurant, a very nice kafeneíon, which also makes small snacks (mezédes), the bakery and the supermarket.
For emergencies there is a pharmacy whose owner speaks excellent English in addition to Greek.
Beaches are at varying distances. Right in front of the house is 800 meters from the nearest beach. For further beaches a car is recommended! On the beaches of the neighboring village of Kandia are several restaurants and tavernas. Meat is served, and for enthusiasts a wide variety of fish, fresh almost everywhere. All of them are on the beach and have lounge chairs under "Hawaii umbrellas".
And the owners think it's quite normal when you come to eat in your swimming costume in the summer heat.
