A perfect base in the authentic village of Dorio on the Peloponnese. From Athens airport you can reach the village in 2.5 hours by rental car and from Kalamata airport in 25 minutes. From here you can discover the beautiful area that this peninsula has to offer. In the village itself you will only encounter locals who will welcome you with warm Greek hospitality and you can enjoy the real Greek life.
The house has a double bedroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed. A baby camping bed is also available. Furthermore, a spacious living room, modern kitchen and adjacent bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. There is also a veranda where you can relax.
The village has a supermarket, a bakery and several restaurants. There is a market every Friday where you will find plenty of fruit and vegetables. There is a Lidl and Sklevterinis about a 15-minute drive away in the direction of Kyparissia, which is the nearest town. Kalamata is about a 25-minute drive away, which is very easy to drive due to the new roads that have been built in the area in recent years. There are several beaches in the area, such as Kalo Nero and Sunny Paradise. Kalo Nero also has a beachside swimming pool with restaurant. This area is also easy to travel with children, as we always do.
