Our house, built in 1901, has a villa-like appearance. At present it consists of two apartments, each with its own front door in the stairwell. The apartment on the ground floor is occupied by the owners, the apartment on the first floor is the holiday.
The house has a cozy living room with spacious seating area and satellite TV. The master bedroom has a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped, has an oven, the dishes done with the hand. From the kitchen to reach the children's room with a two single beds. The bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and toilet. There can be added upon request a guest bed. A cot, highchair and baby bath can also be added upon request. In a shed in the staircase is a washing machine and a vacuum cleaner.
There is a large garden around the house where you can use. There are several terraces where you can enjoy the peace.
A bit further (200 m.), Across from the restaurant / guesthouse Waldfrieden, is a large parking lot.
Sachsen is a new federal state. The Sachsen are always amazed that there are tourists. They are themselves not aware of how beautiful Sachsen is! But they put themselves in front of tourist friendly and accommodating, even doing their best to speak English if necessary. This year we discovered the "Saxon Switzerland" with its impressive rock formations (see photos at the presentation of the house). Kurort Rathen is the start of a beautiful walk over and through rocks. One of our guests remarked: If I had known this earlier, I could have saved me a trip to the Grand Canyon "(He overdid it a bit.) The journey takes about two hours, but it is a lifetime-experience.
