Apartment Markus is a completely new apartment! A beautiful, spacious and quiet holiday home in the village of Eimelrod.
During your stay you can enjoy the peace and nature. At the same time, all possibilities for an active stay are in the vicinity. So enjoy and something for everyone. From the apartment you can start beautiful hiking trails almost immediately.
Apartment layout: you reach the front door via a staircase, you enter a spacious hall with a corridor, from here you reach the cozy living room with open kitchen, dining area and sitting area with smart TV.
A door further is a beautiful spacious bedroom with a box spring, a home workplace and a lovely sitting area. There is a separate toilet, a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and towel radiator.
A private parking space is available. Outside, next to the entrance, there is a lovely terrace waiting for you!
NB! The apartment is non-smoking. No smoking of any kind is allowed (also e-cigarette or vape is not allowed).

Explanation of prices

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 7 days before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 7th and 4th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 4 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will no longer use the rented property, he will still owe the full rental price.

* Restaurant Zur Zweere, participated in the TV program Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal and well rated by chef Mike Süsser.

There is a small grocery shop, Hofladen Wetekam, a bar and a beer garden.
A baker also comes to the village twice a week.
Mühlenkopfschanze; the largest ski jumping hill in the world, in Willingen.
Skywalk Willingen; the largest suspension bridge in Germany.
Hochheideturm; lookout tower on the Ettelsberg in Willingen.
Ettelsberg-Seilbahn; cabin lift that takes you to the observation tower.
Curioseum; a museum that you must see!
Upländer Bauernmolkerei GmbH; the shop with museum is a little further in the village of Usseln (opposite the bakery).
Summer toboggan run & Sesselbahn / Skilifte Willingen; ski slope in winter and a toboggan run, tubing and trampolines in summer.
Lagunen-Erlebnisbad; tropical swimming pool in Willingen.
Glass manufacturer Willingen; glass blowing workshop with shop.
Viaduct Willingen; beautiful viaduct which was built between 1913-1917 as part of the railway line between Brilon and Korbach.
Bruchhauser Steine; a beautiful rock formation with four large rocks on the flank of the 728 m high Istenberg in the Rothaar Mountains.
Fort Fun Abenteuerland; an amusement park with four roller coasters, including the Trapper Slider toboggan run and the Speed Snake corkscrew roller coaster.
Diemelsee; Beaches, sunbathing areas and various restaurants and shops. The impressive dam is highly recommended to view.
Winterberg; you can reach Winterberg in less than half an hour. There is also a lot to experience here!

The Edersee is also easy to drive to and has many options;
* Schloss Waldeck
* Eder Draisine (cycling on a train track)
* Das Tolle Haus Am Edersee (house turned upside down)

Korbach is less than a 20-minute drive away and is a small town with a larger range of shops and several supermarkets (Kaufland, Edeka Hercules, Penny, Lidl, Aldi), bowling alley, cinema and a beautiful old city center.
