The terrace on the south of the property where you have lots of sun in summer.



The National Park Kellerwald-Edersee The house is on the outer edge of the park, after about 100 meters you walk into.
The area offers many opportunities for nature lovers, mountinbikers, hikers and bikers course.

For water sports enthusiasts there is the Edersee with Edertalsperre, here are plenty of water activities available such as sailing, swimming, fishing, scuba diving and cruise on the Edersee.
Activities
Winter sports resorts that are nearby are Winterberg and Willingen.Ongeveer 45 minutes. This winter you can take Skiing, Cross-country skiing, sledding.

Löhlbach only outdoor pools and is only open in summer.
Bad Wildungen the pool is open all year.

Frankenau is a good starting point from which to many villages with their half-timbered houses and spas as Korbach, Frankenberg Bad Wildungen and more enjoyable
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September is in the shopping center of Frankenberg a Herbst Stadtfest, with music, fashion chow and more.

The large garden - with many flowering shrubs, strawberries and berry bushes - adjacent to a fast-flowing stream, for children safely separated with gauze. The garden has also a playhouse
The living room with Christmas decorations. Enjoy lounging on the comfortable couch, in an armchair or unique rocking chair. In the cupboards you will find a small collection of books and DVDs.
The house has a total of three bathrooms, including this one on the second floor that is carried out in a quite luxury state: in a separate part a pretty washbasin with toilet; the second part includes a rain shower and bathtub.

Conviviality around the wood stove.
The luxury fitted kitchen is U-shaped, with at the right a ceramic plate and oven; in the middle a kitchen counter 'with a view' and on your left the sink, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and fridge-freezer. So fully equipped!

At the table you have a beautiful view over the garden, the adjacent stream and of course the mountains. In the evening you can dine and talk for hours in this cosy place (like in this picture on Christmas Eve). But watching the flames in the stove is also tempting!

In the apartment below is a small living room with comfortable sofa bed, a kitchen, bathroom and a separate bedroom.
The bedroom of the apartment has a cherry wood twin bed with Auping base. The room is adjacent to the covered terrace.
The small bathroom in the apartment was largely renovated at the end of 2019 and is now equipped with beautiful sanitary facilities.
As soon as the first sun shows itself, it is very enjoyable on the grass terrace.
Next to the apartment a luxurious infrared sauna for 2 people, with relaxation music, different colors of light and radiant heaters behind, at the sides and at the lower legs. And afterwards relax in the open air on the bench behind the sauna...
Next to the apartment is a covered terrace with a southern feel, equipped with lounge set and picnic bench. The ideal barbecue area.
You can park along the street, at the top of the ramp or via a sloping ramp to the house.
The house is in a rural location yet close to the village center of Elpe.

A comfortable PVC floor has recently been installed in the bathroom, hall and kitchen.
Summer tip: the Waldfreibad Gudenhagen near Brilon, one of the largest forest baths in North Rhine Westphalia. Closer by and also very beautiful is the outdoor swimming pool in Siedlinghausen.
Hiking tip for all seasons: the Hochheide Niedersfeld. Along the way along the Goldene Pfad route, with special elements and beautiful views. And a cozy Stube with terrace.
Tourist tip: the Bruchhauser Steine. With good weather you can even see as far as the Teutoburger Wald from the four rock formations in this nature reserve.
Tourist tip: compare the different (Sommer) toboggan lifts in the region. Sternrodt in Olsberg, Erlebnisberg Kappe in Winterberg and of course not forgetting the great toboggan run Trapper Slider in the Freizeitspark Fort Fun in Ramsbeck.

Fun bad weather activity: a visit to the mines of Ramsbeck. Here you take a train deep into the mountain.
There is plenty to do in Winterberg, such as a climbing forest, toboggan run, zipline, panorama bridge, etc.
In the Sauerland there are many beautiful lakes for water sports, fishing or swimming
The largest waterfall in Sauerland is within walking distance of the house
