Here is our old water mill from 1776 with a rich history in a private area of ??2.2 hectares with a private stream, Luppbode.
The mill is located on a dirt road and the authentic mountain village of Allrode is within walking distance (restaurants and groceries).
We rent all year round 4 modern apartments, one of which is presented here first. A very spacious and modern apartment for 2-7 persons on the ground floor in the large garden with beautiful views.
The apartment is bright and luxurious equipped. The cottage is ground in two steps after a small staircase from the hallway to the living area.
We also rent four luxury rooms with breakfast.
Our mill is located in the heart of the Harz and all activities are within striking distance.
The nature in the Harz region is rugged and pure with tranquil mountain villages and romantic medieval towns; a steam train network and stalactite caves with theater.
We are walking friendly and happy to inform and advise you on walks to size. Maps we lend.
The village Allrode has no ATM and also for larger messages you have 11 kilometers away.
There are excellent bus and to the payment of your tax you receive a card to make free use of the bus network in most of the eastern Harz Mountains.
Allrode does have a gas station.
We are Paul and Erna. Dutch people who fell in love with our region; the Eastern Harz mountains. In 2006, we have our Mill, which we have kept the historic name purchased. With great enthusiasm we have renovated the property to introduce our guests with the beauty of this area. As of July 17, 2014 we have 4 apartments for you and we finally emigrated. The living area is open plan and situated on the garden; bright and colourful furnished with lots of light and beautiful views from the 4 big windows. Contemparory interior with a personal tough for design and decoration to make you feel at home. Spacious dining area with 8 seats, the seating area is separated from the dining area by an open room divider. Comfortable leather chairs and big sofa. Service-hatch from the dining area to the kitchen. Both bright and mood lighting to choose from in the evenings. Walking and cycling maps available and a lot of information on interesting sights. To relax there is a stereoset with radio; cd player and ipod doc; books; magazines and many games. We deliberately placed no TV to preserve the tranguil atmosphere.
Spacious, bright master bedroom with king-size double bed. Excellent quality mattresses and bedside cabinets. Sheep Wool all-seasons duvets with good pillows. Bed linen is provided. A large wardrobe with full size mirror. Large windows overlooking the mountain slope. The bedroom is spacious enough to place a camp bed for a child,if nessecary. A camp bed is provided for.
Second bedroom is suited for 3 persons. One half Loft bed with pocket sprung mattress. Two boxsprings with bedside cabinets and the possibillity for creating a twin- or a double bed. All beds have sheep wool all-seasons duvets; good pillows and bed linen is provided. Wardrobe and mirror. Large window overlooking the mountain slope. In the living room the couch can easily be turned into a double bed with a duvet; pillows and bed linen.
Spacious bathroom with toilet; separate shower, bath with shower and bathroom cabinet with mirrior and outlets. Hairdryer; towelrack and laundry basket. There is a big window wich brings in direct light from outside.
A spacious separate kitchen of 17 m2. Modern interior with large windows overlooking the mountain slope. Kitchen equipment is suitable for extended meals, but also quick and easy as this is more convenient. Large freezer / refrigerator combination; hot-air oven with grill function;microwave; electric cooker. Separate cupboard with inventory for 8 people. Spacious kitchen corner unit with cupboards above and several kitchen machines. culinairy herbs are present. Separate table with stools. It has a convenient service-hatch to the dining area in living room.
There are 2 nature swimmingpools in short distance of the mill. The quality of the water is regularly checked and meets stringent requirements for bathing. There is a sunbathing area and diving boards are present at different levels. Showers are available.

Wij hebben met ons gezin, en de vriend van onze dochter, een hele prettige vakantie gehad.
Heel leuk appartement met speelse elementen en complete inrichting.
Er is geen antenneaansluiting, dus geen tv ontvangst, maar er is wel een hele ruime keuze aan DVD's aanwezig die je gratis kan lenen.
Ook aan boeken en spelletjes is gedacht.
De verhuurders zijn heel gastvrij en vriendelijk, en bij aankomst waren de bedden al opgemaakt en lagen er handdoekpakketten klaaar.
Ook voor onze twee hondjes stonden er voer-, en drinkbak klaar evenals een bench.
De enige kleine minpuntjes zijn de weg (en) naar de locatie, en het slechte Wifi bereik.
Voor de rest een hele leuke en ontspannen akantie gehad, en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar !

Zeer vriendelijke en correcte verhuurders, prima woning met uitgebreide inrichting. Al bijna voor thuiskomst was de borg teruggestort. En geen gezeur met aparte kosten voor energie, eindschoonmaak etc maar gewoon alles in 1 prijs. mn voor wandelaars absoluut aanbevelenswaardig!
Zeer vriendelijke verhuurders. Niks is te veel.Er word regelmatig geinformeerd of alles naar wens is. Zeer gastvrij.Het appartement helemaal volledig ingericht. Je mist niks.DE TUIN IS SUPER DE LUXE. Iedere ochtend lekker buiten gegeten.
Ook aan de hond is gedacht. Lagen koekjes klaar was een handdoek om hem af te drogen enz. enz. Aanrader om deze omgeving te bezoeken.We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad en zijn helemaal ontspannen naar huis gegaan.
