The holiday villa “La Bonnette” is located in the typical medieval southern French village of Saint Antonin Noble Val. The villa is located 400 meters from the center and has a completely unobstructed view due to its elevated location on a hill. From the terrace of the private swimming pool (6 by 4 meters) with jacuzzi you can look over the village to the impressive Roc d'Anglars. The village's church tower is just visible and the distance to the Aveyron river is only about 750 meters.
Saint Antonin is located on this river and is a beautiful southern French village. Every Sunday there is a regional market, which attracts many visitors. In the very cozy old village with only “maisons en pierres” you can fully enjoy the many shops, including artists, galleries, attractive terraces, restaurants (approximately 8) and cafes through the winding, medieval and car-free streets. There are two supermarkets, a bank and post office and three bakeries. Everything within walking distance. The central square, with the Romanesque House from 1125, offers you an unforgettable moment to enjoy a vin rouge or a pastis de Marseille under the plane trees.
The house was completely renovated in 2020 and provided with a completely new interior in 2022. There are two bedrooms, each with ample closet space. The living room has air conditioning and a sofa bed, a table for six people and a TV with all French channels and a Chromecast, so that you can also watch the TV of your own country. There is also a bathroom with shower, cupboards and automatic extraction. The very spacious kitchen is equipped with all amenities. Everything is tailored to 4 to 6 guests. Through the kitchen you can go to the garage, where the washing machine is located and the laundry can be dried.
In the immediate vicinity (often within walking distance) you can enjoy the many possibilities that Saint Antonin Noble Val offers: tennis, canoeing and kayaking trips through the beautiful gorges de l'Aveyron, fishing, horse riding, swimming, water sports, marked walks, mountain biking (racing) cycling, viaferrata cave visits and paragliding. There is a large outdoor swimming pool in the village. Caussade (18 km) is the first town with almost all shops. Montauban and Albi (the Carthaginian city) are approximately 45 km away and Toulouse is 90 km away. The unique historic towns of Bruniquel, Cordes sur Ciel, Penne and Najac are just a few kilometers away. The film classic "Le Vieux Fusil" was shot in Bruniquel. This village is also definitely worth a visit.
The village of Saint Antonin Noble Val was the setting for the film The Hundred Food Journey by Lasse Halström.
