This beautiful spot has a spacious holiday home for 2 to 6 people with free WIFI and a beautiful kitchen for cooking. Near the sea, 5 km in the middle of nature and in a quiet location.
Your pet is very welcome. Large garden with terrace. An oasis of green. Hiking trails directly from the house, where you regularly encounter deer!

A new, modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and sturdy Retro refrigerator from Smeg, cozy bar table in the kitchen with high stools.

A major renovation was carried out in 2021 regarding the lighting plan and sockets. The conservatory has recently become beautiful white and has a sleek paint job. The woodwork around the conservatory has also been treated and given a beautiful warm color.

There are 3 bedrooms in total: there is a cozy, spacious double room on the ground floor (1.80 x 2.00 Auping bed) with private access to the sunny terrace and new toilet with sink downstairs.

There are also 2 bedrooms next to each other on the first floor, the first is the bedroom for the parents with an Auping bed (1.80 x 2.00) and the other bedroom has two single beds. Here is the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.

Downstairs is a cozy living room with large dining table and wood-burning stove. Through an arch you enter the conservatory with large corner sofa and access to the terrace. In the conservatory there is a TV screen (no TV channels) with HDMI cable. If you take your laptop with you, for example with your own Netflix or Ziggo Go, you can watch TV in the evening.

The beautiful garden is unique. A sunny garden with shady spots. Very quietly located on the south and with lots of privacy. The terrace has the sun from early morning to evening and is sheltered. Relax with a glass of wine and a BBQ.

The new, spacious kitchen has been completely renovated. Completely equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, bright red large refrigerator with freezer, large gas stove with oven, good stainless steel extractor hood with lighting, microwave/electric oven, kettle, coffee maker. The kitchen has a bar table with 2 stools, for those who like to have a drink while cooking or want to eat in a different place.

We offer this house for a nice affordable price. price includes linen, the beds are ready for use upon arrival.

The location of the house is special, a spacious courtyard for safe parking, a large garden, ideal also with a dog, beautiful walking area right from the house. For enthusiasts: bring sturdy walking shoes, you can take nice roads to Quettehou to get bread from the bakery or even walk to the sea (about 1 hour and 15 minutes). The dog can just walk free, you will hardly meet anyone!
The beaches are also dog-friendly, beautiful miles of walks along the sea, mudflat walking with the dog or swimming with the dog, it's all possible, the sea is nice and flat and fairly shallow, gently sloping and therefore suitable for small children and pets that like swimming .

The house has a wood stove in the living room and can also be rented in spring, autumn and winter. The wood is available on site, €10 per basket, there is a money box on site for this. The house can be centrally heated from October to April, at an additional cost. The surcharge is 80 Euro per week.

In addition to lots of sun, there is also plenty of shade in the garden, which is not completely fenced. The terrace is partly walled and is deep, so you can quickly enjoy the sun in the spring. Inside it is ideal with the dog, tiles or parquet everywhere.

Rental in principle from Saturday to Saturday. Out of season, different arrival or departure dates can be discussed.

Who are we?

We are Karin and Auke from Friesland, over 50, Karin has lived in France for a long time, but was born in Friesland and Auke is a real Frisian. We work and live in Friesland. We spend our holidays in Fanoville about four times a year and always put our holiday days to good use, we work hard to maintain the garden and house well.

The result is Fanoville 10, a beautiful spot in La Pernelle, close to the sea, not a modern 5-star villa, but an authentic French house, modernized and renovated, while retaining its natural character. Anyone who has been once often comes back again, just to get away from the busy life in the Netherlands, sometimes even in all seasons! How beautiful is that :)

We are from Friesland and bought this house for the idyllic spot, it is hidden in the hills, yet close to large supermarkets, beautiful beaches and restaurants. It is a special place to fall in love with. We hope that you will come and enjoy this unique holiday home with us. our favorite place to cycle to via the coast (Reville - Barfleur), fairly flat area, which is possible without an electric bike! The reward is this special authentic harbor town, enjoy a nice meal at Cafe de Paris on the terrace by the sea

Cecile & Alphonse gave an average of 8.9 in September 2020. With the clear directions, it was not difficult to find this beautiful place. A lovely garden and terrace with lots of privacy. It was still a good place to be here in September. Also an excellent location to explore the beautiful and quiet area, eg from Saint Vaast, Cherbourg to Carteret. And practical: the Intermarche is nearby! The house is clean on arrival. It was known in advance that there are still parts "under construction" (kitchen and bathroom). But everything we needed worked properly. The already renovated parts look good (and the bed downstairs is excellent). As stated on the site, Karin responds quickly and adequately. On departure I also met Karin and heard her further renovation plans. It will probably be even more beautiful in this unique place. We (2 adults and 2 dogs) were looking for an authentic French house in Basse Normandie, close to the coast, where our dogs are also welcome. Well we found that! Karin and Auke's house is a very attractive house. With a beautiful garden. Even if you sit inside, because the view from the conservatory on the garden is really great. We liked the house very much, we felt right at home and everything you need is there. The kitchen is indeed in need of replacement. But we had no problems with it. There is a large refrigerator, a large stove and plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. And when cooking, we put the window on the tilt position, so we didn't suffer from odors either. The bathroom was also fine. Just like the large wood stove. It turned on every day! The house is located on a cul-de-sac and you step straight into the forest. From home you can make beautiful walks. There is a homemade book in the house with all kinds of practical tips to do and see. We followed a lot of tips. We found the house clean and the garden looked well maintained. It had stormed just before we arrived, but everything had been cleaned up. The contact with Karin was very good and pleasant. Karin responds almost immediately to questions via email. And Karin thinks in solutions and is very customer-oriented. We can therefore heartily recommend this house for people who are looking for atmosphere, tranquility and a beautiful location. The price includes cleaning, bed linen and firewood and that is certainly not too much to ask!
