Gite Poujol

Welcome to our estate Poujol in the Tarn et Garonne. We would like to invite you to join us (Jos and Anke van der Mijl) and take a look behind the walls of our estate "POUJOL".

Since January 2010 we have lived permanently in Montfermier de Quercy.

The distance from the highway to our house is a 30-minute drive through a beautiful, quiet nature reserve. Do you remember what real silence is? We would like to let you experience it.

Our house is located at the end of a dead end road where only the farmer comes by every now and then to inspect his orchards.

In addition to our private house, we have built a large GITE and a HOLIDAY HOME on our property where we would like our guests to enjoy beautiful nature.

A walk around the lake gives you the feeling of space and tranquility.

The GITE consists of a large living room - large dining kitchen - bathroom - toilet - 3 bedrooms upstairs.

Large terrace with large garden. There is also a BBQ ready for you.

Bart and Femke: August 2016 This house in Poujol was phenomenal. An impressively beautiful location with beautiful views, an extremely authentic and characterful house and a garden as beautiful and romantic as from a French 60s-70s film with beautifully overhanging trees and a diversity of nice spots and corners in the garden, as well as a beautiful and very attractive covered terrace in an attic. The house is located in a place in eternity in a beautiful region where there is much to see. The days can last endlessly because of the silence and the peace is indescribable. In addition, the host and hostess are indescribably hospitable and are ready for anything and are very involved, while still leaving all the privacy and space to the visitor. Never before had we been so well taken care of. Just experiencing sunrise and sunset in this place is a beautiful experience every day. Perhaps the most beautiful and nicest holiday home we have ever stayed in. The only disadvantage of the house is that you actually want to continue living there when you leave.

2016 was a great holiday for us! Beautiful spacious gite (6 person) at the end of a dead end road (quiet!), with a spacious kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms for a gite, a lovely large veranda to relax in. Nice shine! swimming pool where the children (6 and 8) had a great time. Very quiet location, but within fifteen minutes you are on the highway on the way to your day out. We could go on like this for a while, but we are full of praise. And last but not least, of course the owners Jos and Anke... 2 wonderful, lovely people who immediately make you feel welcome and at home, are always there for you, with practical things, tips, and facts about life in FR that will make you would like to sell everything in the Netherlands immediately and......
