La Bicyclette Bleue

We are Ed and Yvonne, owners of La Bicyclette Bleue, a charming converted farmhouse dating from 1890 on 10.000m2 on the edge of the Foret Campuzan. Peace and privacy, private pool ready by May 1, 2010. Ideal area for bikers, hikers, anglers, horse riding, golf etc. Summer and winter sports in the Pyrenees.
We have heard from our guests that we are absolutely able to renovate the house so that maintaining such rustic beams and roof, there arose an attractive house with his fun aspects such as a pond in the garden, walls etc.
You will find privacy and tranquility, passing cars on the comb is minimal, 5 a day is a lot. The calmness invites you to relax in the garden, fast asleep in the shade in a hammock, stroll on 't grounds and admire the flowers or enjoy the fruit. In addition, the location of the house invites you to wonderful walks to or around the lake maken.Op short distance are a variety of opportunities to visit or business.

May we take you on a tour of our house?
We have tried as many authentic parts of the house to maintain. The old rustic beams in every room, you danook against.
If you are the buildings you see on the left the cottage, on the 1st floor a large slaapriumte with 2 beds and sitting area, is located underneath the barn.

On the right side of the house between the two buildings with a roof which is fully tiled and where a permanent table with rattan chairs for 6 people.

Around the house lighting is provided which automatically turns on at dusk, under the canopy lighting is also provided (you can evening also dim ...).
In the barn are not only all kinds of (garden) tools but also furniture. You will find at 2x a parasol, a wooden table with 2 benches, a hexagonal plastic table with 6 hartman chairs, small round table with 4 bucket seats, 2 loungers and hammocks. All seats are pillows, these are neatly packed in suitable plastic bags. Also for the rattan chairs pillows.

Are you from this point the house will take you directly into the living room facing allegations. There is a wood stove, 4 lounge chairs (you can cane chairs from outside also in use) a coffee table, a dining area for 4 to 6 people, a writing unit, two closets and a small cave in the wall. The TV is in the closet, there is no TV connection but the possibility to watch DVDs, they are well enough in the drawer of the cabinet.

If you right in the house is look up in the rafters of the house with its antique French lamp.

Turn left then you La Chambre Rose, a 2 bedroom.

Are you in the living room up the stairs you will come to the loft where a small library with a relaxing chair, a wonderful place for your evening to retire. There is also a lounge / sofa bed for 2 persons.

Also located on this floor 'La Chambre Lavandle, a spacious 2 bedroom with room for the baby cot (you can of course also in the lower chamber seats).

Left of the stairs (down) is the bathroom with 2 sinks, 2 showers, 1 WC. A spacious and bright blue-white bathroom. The washing machine is in a separate room, so do the ironing board and iron.

Right of the stairs you enter a small hallway where 2 doors back in the garden come true.

From the hallway you left the kitchen, fully equipped including a dishwasher, magneetron, senseo, coffee machine, bread maker, fridge and small freezer, sandwich maker, blender, etc etc.

Back in the hall you come through the doors at the pond from where the morning can have your breakfast enjoying the fish.

If you have any questions, you can always email us naturally. We see almost daily in our mailbox.

We wish you lots of fun and hope to welcome you in our house.

La Bicyclette bleue orThe blue bicycle, how we come to such a name for our house?

The previous occupants had left an old bicycle. From perversity we dyed blue bike and a mailbox to hang. Days post wandered through the village or never arrived. The "postman" had trouble with our name on post for us and wrote regularly on our post "la maison avec la bicyclette bleue??".

Well, you can not help but call over the house "La bicyclette bleue"!

Comme un Poubelle .... I have repeatedly called and wondered if there would come an end to the struggle for the garden in order to krijgen.Hadden non EEA residents left in the house, no, these people had it reversed, this had anything left in the un tuin.Comme Poubelle ... it looked like a dump ....... old beds, pots, cutlery, clothing, tiles, empty cans, shoes .... everything we came against ... And then you also want a pond, dig a hole is no problem, but driving away from all that mud ... well that was just one other story. We can fill the pond with fish which we "assiel politics" have been granted since they almost perished in an empty pond at an abandoned house on the bergkam.Maar all the work was ultimately rewarded, there is a beautiful garden arise with z 'n gravel paths, its pond, its bridge, many walls etc. Every time I walk (Yvon) hours in the garden pruning, to count how many roses are there again this year, to enjoy an fruit and enjoy many moois.U can use a half acre garden with gravel, grass and various trees and shrubs. The grass is mowed regularly by Monsieur Jean, perhaps it occurs when you're there, Monsieur Jean will seek to minimize harass. A glass of wine or soft drink, he will surely appreciate.

Juli 2016:

Juli 2016:
Beste gastvrouw en man

Just an impression of the year 2009:
Ah, how wonderful it is to it every morning when you open the double doors to the kitchen to eat some grapes here, looking at the first dawn ... the vague fog over the country, listening to the birds in the endless silence, Breathing the fresh aromas and a deep sigh .... then .... the feeling of enormous gratitude ... why we enjoy?!

The blue and green grapes every year very tasteful! For the 2nd year we have walnuts to reap the spoils of what was already more than last year. Let dry in the sun, stored in the barn during the winter months to eat with some Pyrenean cheese with a glass wijn.De hazelnuts were a little less last year, many had fallen to the ground and eaten.
Next year it nets around the trees. The pear tree does nothing but bide Yvon.

Had the storm last year all the apples from the trees shaken, so this year to see what less apples. Alas, we remain dependent on the weather, a strong hailstorm during the blossom time ensures a severely damaged and less apples / plums / cherries. The apple peel, pickle and again delicious apple compote made for the winter months in Campuzan.

The white peaches, such as the French call it here .... mmmm. Delicious with duck! So these pickled and used in the winter months in a stew eend.De figs were plentiful but not yet ready to be picked, a little a few weeks wait.

If nobody in the house, then our neighbors picking figs and eat, no probleem.De kiwis, again many present in the kiwi bush. The fruit looks good when cutting open but still too small and too hard. The next few weeks the neighbor watering them regularly so that in late October / early November can be harvested.

We are curious!
Almost every year the Tour de France runs a short distance away and visit us.

Also in 2015, the Tour was launched in Lannemezan, 18km from us.

In 2008 we have seen the start in Lannemezan. What a spectacle, what have we enjoyed the atmosphere, the show, all beautifully decorated chariots of the caravan. All buses are just assembled before our eyes, cyclists had the time to even put a signature on the photo or gaan.De entire entourage around the start is really an enjoyable game show. For starters, there entertianment and spectakel.De evening before the start there is a night in Lannemezan waardan again everything is for sale with regard to the Tour de France. Mussels is tradition to eat it during the night before the start in Lannemezan, there were also many long tables where visitors visibly enjoyed the meal. Interspersed with performances of Spanish dancers made the evening complete.

Every year the Tour short distance from our house in the neighborhood

Tour up close is almost a must, we would say.

The deer do like the wild boars using a portion of our site.
An acre is not used by us and for the animals a wonderful stay.

From the woods very often asked the deer to the road to stabbing and sometimes through our garden to the acre to run what we do not use. Or they run from left to right over the land of the farmer, for early birds ... grab a chair, from the terrace of the pool, a wonderful dawn with the backdrop of the crossing deer (usually between 7 and 745uur).

There are also wild boar in the woods. In 12 years we have only 1 time during the day boars gezien.Everzwijnen occur mainly at night from the forest voorschijn.Ons area is protected against the entry of wild boar. Evening, you must connect the two inputs. A half acre, so the maintenance garden, protected by electric fencing. Wild boars are only dangerous if they have youngsters, they will always defend it.

There is no street lighting on the bridge there, but as said before there is light automatically at dusk. There are 4 lights around the house.
Our house is on top of the ridge. There is a road down to the lake, Lac Puydarrieux. This is a protected bird and a favorite sport and fishing location.

Puydarrieux Lac is located in the Foret Campuzan and there are several marked hiking tours around the lake.

For bird lovers this is a great area where you can enjoy the tranquility of endless.

The cranes attract every year to Lac Puydarrieux. Hence they regularly fly to other lakes in the area. The sound of the birds from afar to hear you without the birds have been observed. There is a mention of observing an osprey observed, this came daily to pick up his food and then return to its nest.

It is also a beautiful area where you can fish including carp. It is allowed to water on a boat to go fishing at night is related to the protection of the area is not permitted.

In Lannemezan you can pick up a license for a few days fishing or go fishing in mountain lakes.
Campuzan located a short distance from the mountains where a diversity of activities in both summer and winter could be undertaken. In our house there is a very comprehensive folder with leaflets, maps enz.In the pretty villages around us, there are weekly small markets, a very large market in Lannemezan and small local markets in Castelnau Magnoac and Trie sur Baise. Save definitely not a visit to Lourdes, take time to explore this beautiful city bekijken.Lourdes, located in the heart of the Pyrenees, receives 5 million visitors annually from around the world. Here is the spiritual nature, whether in history or legend is, part of the present by the power and beauty of this town, the stamp of the past and the modesty of the heiligdommen.Lourdes was just a small hamlet when Bernadette Soubirous on February 11, 1858 on the banks of the Gave, the "Lady" who met the city morphed into a Marian place.
Lovely stroll across the flea markets in the area or the work provider greniers ..... every week there are 1 or 2 in the vicinity vinden.Ik can not get enough and will therefore always have another round on the market go in case I even "something" would have missed that .... Ed vemeldt every time I've seen everything anyway .... until he too beach at a market stall with all 2nd hand tools ....

And then 12 hours .... the sellers leave their stall for extensive dining with friends or cover a table to sit down and chat and eat with fellow stall enjoyed. Oh .. how friendly all.
And we ... ah we move on, enjoy a delicious simple meal and a glass of wine and then just make a circle.
In Lannemezan are several large supermarkets.

The weekly market on Wednesday is definitely worth a visit, then take your time for. Do not be surprised the sale of chickens and other animals on the market to find, but this only occurs in the early market hours.

In a local building, hiding between the stalls, you can find vendors who sell their own goods from the garden, talking and waiting all this time or they will sell their products, including organic products here are offered in the Gers.

Connect the market day with dinner on the terrace of routierhotel L'Hostellerie du Chateau in the marketplace, but be wise enough ahead of time to reserve a table for € 11.00 you get a 3 course meal with a jug of water, pink or red wine, a children costs € 6.50.

Table cozy with the French and see how after a busy morning market in the rest returneth Lannemezan.

The markets of Trie sur Baise Castelnau Magnoac on Tuesday and Saturday are worth a visit. Not only the markets, both have to EEE history to tell. They are typical French villages with a lovely atmosphere. It is also a wonderful outing to zondagachtend fresh bread to buy in Trie. It invites every time out, after buying bread, a cup of coffee on the terrace and enjoy the cozy french geniality. Even 's small supermarket, the newsstand and grocer are open.

Trie is nationally known for its Championnat de France du "cri du cochon" in August, or in other words a contest, where participants fight each other who the best sound of a pig can imitate. Hilarity at all, there are little skits performed by the participants and of course the color pink as the color of the pig clearly present.

The French are turning their hand did not choose to, to just 100 km away. Distances in France are accustomed to us and still sometimes do the eyebrows frown, but alas we also have our custom. So we drive 100 km to visit the lively market to go in the Isle Jourdain on Saturday morning. Special markets are those of Gimont on Wednesday and Monday in Samatan. The foie gras and duck meat is sold here in the ancient halls. In Giroussens, since the 17th century known for its pottery, the potter's largest market of the Midi-Pyrenees held. The nearby village offers Rabastens "Biocybèle", a delicious organic market. In Rabastens-de-Bigorre, you can enjoy the "Gran Marcat Lou", an old-fashioned farmers' market where people in costumes, parades and musicians enhance the atmosphere even more.
Although we only started in May 2008 with the hiring of our house, we give below some comments back.

August 2008.We have just returned from two weeks "La bicyclette" and it was a wonderful holiday! Despite the fact that the weather is a bit disappointing we enjoyed the tranquility, the beautiful house, the welcome and the beautiful surroundings! July 2008.

Antoinette and I finally got the chance to see how after 8 years of hard work and creativity, your french house would look like.
Upon arrival, the cozy French atmosphere radiated from there, if only by the colors around the building that you have managed to create.
Of course the whole house inside view, especially the interior made us surprised, it's well equipped, even here the atmosphere is again displayed excellent.
After a relaxing night in one of the beautiful bedrooms, it was great to get up and immediately as you step outside to look at a beautiful orchard with kiwi, plums, cherries, etc.

And further the country, the views of the Pyrenees with its snowy peaks, we imagined ourselves as' GOD IN FRANCE.

We have great fun with can walk, about 5 minutes 'walk we came to' t large nature reserve where you can spot all kinds of birds and other species. We were lucky that a very large group of carp on the edge of the lake, swam, "great".

The next day we went to the start of the TOUR DE FRANCE look in LANNEMEZAN, what an experience, and fun that we could take to make this a great happening.Lannemezan is a lively city with lots of terraces where we ate delicious.

In the area there is also the firm Auberge, a nice location, good wine, great food, and especially in the evening hours with the sun and the moon during the late hours, an adventure to be sure to repeat. For then is really saying 'THE COUNTRY WHERE LIFE IS GOOD ".

A week is too short!

We also had to play golf, but we do so the next time as we discuss in good health for sure next year weer.YVON, ED IT WAS GREAT

Dear Ed and Yvon,

What a great week and what a treat ...
You first look at your site, you read and see pictures, you form a picture. but the reality is even better!

Whenever we were surprised with how much love and how much detail this house has been refurbished and decorated and how complete it is!
We had beautiful weather and have a lot outside in the hammocks and located under the roof sat. But I can still very well imagine what it's get to some cooler weather to sit by the fireplace with a glass of wine and a book ..

The house and surroundings gave us peace. As a matter of pace seemed calm down .. we enjoyed the view, the long evenings, the silence, the birds, the fruit in the garden, a place in or out of the sun, a walk .. actually it was the house and the garden is enough for us and we have little felt the need to undertake actions.

Maybe we do that next time, because that is something we come back for sure. Many thanks for your hospitality.
Karin and Hans, Aerdenhout.
June-July 2008

We spent 3 weeks in this lovely little village near the Pyrenees.

The house has beautifully restored bone with a woodburning stove (fab For those cool spring - or autumn - evenings), very well equipped kitchen and bathroom.

If you want a taste of genuine French country life, tranquility, nature, this is it. And if you really feel you should do a bit of sightseeing that's here too. Or else just relax in the garden and sip the local wine as you watch the sun go down. A great way to finish the day!

Hi Ed and Yvonne,
We want to thank you again for your hospitality.
A paradise can not describe (not even by means of a site), this should really enjoy yourself.
We still enjoy after the neighbor's asleep in his wheelbarrow after consuming his coffee.
Already looking at him flew at 2 m distance an owl past us.

The tranquility and the surroundings are beautiful. We are definitely more along.

Comment Theo and Marion:
La Bicyclette Bleue is a very carefully restored farmhouse. This is reflected in the interior of the house itself but also the attention that the owners have for the large garden which is more than enough space to be carefree recreation.
It lies in a beautiful area with a half hour drive provides access to the Pyrenees or cozy places like Lannemezan Tarbes or Saint Gaudent.
Let us fix especially the catering facilities in this area can not forget. You'll find a host of fun, cozy French really happy occasions which are not yet spoiled by too many tourists. For a day trip are Toulouse, Carcassonne and Albi highly recommended for those who want to soak up some history. And then after a day or two to enjoy the tranquility Campuzan. Thanks for your Christmas card!
We have really enjoyed these 2 weeks and the weather was exceptionally beautiful.
We like to give your address to friends and acquaintances!

Comment Mulder Family:
We are just a few days back from our holiday in your house. And ... back to the great werk.Maar what we can rest.
What a very nice house and we have watched with admiration how everything has worked out to perfection in terms of color and detail.
We had wonderful weather and this was the first winter where I occasionally could stay at home (on a lounger in the sun) and the rest of the family went on the ski slope.
We will definitely come back!
We have the first day neighbor Lesley to create a lesson woodstove asked, because we did not "cheese" eaten. Brrrrr it was cold before, but now we can fire lit.
Greetings Nico, Simone, Amber and Eve.

Hi Yvon and Ed,
We have wonderful 3 weeks spent in your house. For us, it also had "Le petit paradis" may be called, but it had a good name.
The weeks have flown by!
Also in your house again just three weeks we could dream of how it would be to live in France.
We enjoyed the peace, space and the ease. We have not bored. The first days we enjoyed gardening and the plums gesnoept. Fortunately, we can quickly surrender to reading books brought onto the premises. The children also have a good time with the Bratz dolls, their character stuff, but also reading.
We have, inter alia, Cap de Long. Luchon, Gavarnie and visited. Beautiful scenery ... overwhelming! We found it very worthwhile.
Unfortunately we did not really make a deposit on the walk, our beloved leisure interpretation, because of the heat. Yet we have, from your house, in a somewhat partly cloudy day, a nice walk in the surrounding area.
With amazement, we have also taken note of the insects around, but also in the house! (You better not leave doors open.) There was one night some rustling under our pillows. Fortunately it was not the huge spider that we have been the night before in a corner of one of the bedrooms had seen sitting. After gently kisses to have lifted, we saw a huge green grasshopper as 10 cm, who was spawned into the pillowcase. In a freezer box, we gently returned his freedom, so they could begin their evening concert.
Wow ... and that hail! In the afternoon we were at Cap de Long before! When we got home sat still some time in the garden. In the direction of the Pyrenees, we saw a thunder storm caused. The air was so threatening at one point that we decided the couches and kissing in the barn to explain. It rumbled and the rain started when we were sitting on the porch. As the rain turned into hail and there is now a tile above us died, we quickly ran into the house.
Not long after we were with a camera in the doorway to the pond to look at that time had many similarities with a surge in the Oosterschelde. The crane, on quiet days before any movement caused by the pond and oversaw many goldfish, so there is no one drowned, seemed suddenly Jochem Meijer, who had not swallowed his pill.
Oh boy, young, what an experience! In less than 10 minutes was the garden with hailstones as big as tomatoes (6 cm) and the garden was littered with leaves and branches. It was like a November storm.
After peace returned to both neighboring brewing Lesley came as a neighbor Serge wrist size up. At that point we had already noticed that the roof in many places had water inside, but the beds where we slept were soaked, that several tiles were killed, three Hartman Chairs and nearly all had suffered damage gutters. Fortunately, the kitchen had no water damage. The damage in the house still somewhat limit we have everything, what could help the incoming water to absorb, from the kitchen and brought here and placed in the house. However ... it was mopping with the tap!
From that night we slept in the cottage above the shed, until soon there by your friend Gilbert new mattresses were delivered.
Your French friend Nora, the next day the house completely cleaned!
Lesley gave us that night or 2 sturdy shorts for the shock to obtain. The car had indeed suffered a lot. The car, a Kangoo of 2000, looks like a poffertjespan, the windshield in two places and suffered significant cracking of the side mirror is a bit repulsed. (Now declared a total loss by insurance!)
When the next day the sun shone full, we decided a positive spin on the experiences of the previous evening. We are back to gardening and have beaten 7 liters made plum jam. The plums were by the hailstorm of the trees all cases and we found it a pity to see them rot. The jam we have christened "hail plum" either in French "des Prunes grêles". Yvon and Ed ... it means you also a wekfles (1 liter) filled with jam on the kitchen shelf to wait. Hope you enjoy them too. We enjoy it every day and thinking at that moment to go back! We threw the plum at one point even by the bietensla. Recipe: Bag for cooked beets and cut into chunks 1 apple and 1 tablespoon chives hail prune and what to add and yummy.

We will never forget this summer. Despite the hail and the damage it has caused, both to the house and to our car, we can conclude that we have enjoyed!
Particularly enjoyed your beautiful house, you shady, spacious garden, not to mention the not yet discovered by tourists environment.

A must for those seeking peace!

ps. Ann and Lynn have many comics made in the holiday ao of the hailstorm. They decided to give this comic to you. As a reminder ... to us ... and the adventures in a humorous way to process. He goes in the mail (this is in the bathroom!)

Dear Ed and Yvonne
We have 2 wonderful weeks in your beautiful home!
We enjoyed the beautiful weather, beautiful garden and the environment.
For the kids were the pool and swing a big success!
The surroundings of Campuzan is beautiful and varied, nice towns / villages and the Pyrenees on a doorstep.

Hello Ed and Yvonne

Last 2 weeks you charming accommodations used as a base for a "training camp" for the 3 cyclists of our family. Tried several nice routes in the area, one heavier and longer than the other.
From here also 3 times the Tour de France to watch: 1. Col d'Aspin, 2 rustdat in Pau, where we more than half of the teams have visited and 3. Col de Soulor. Yet every time an event in itself, though you're there so often. Still fun, at least if you're so wielergek like us.
No wrong move can hear that ad on "Cycling Country" Thanks Ed and Yvon!
Other contemporaries of what is happening around the "blue bike" to find and see.
Nice to see all these fruits to grow. In 2 weeks time, the grapes, apples, figs and prunes, the ones that are left? , Has grown considerably.
We can now also called a "beestenboek" on Campuzan begin. Toads who liked it to hide behind the airing out of sweat kakkers Jaap and Brian. He / she probably could not choose which shoe he / she would take place. Fortunately, now we saw it on time!
Twice deer walking in the backfield toward the corn field, we were too late in taking a picture. So unfortunately no evidence.
The "jumping stones" we are able to capture. Jeez what are those little say, cute though. Better than their big brother / sister / father / mother who took possession of the pool and tried to save themselves by swimming in the filter. The check valve of course he could not get out without help, caught and turned away so that we could swim again quiet.
While Johann and Mitzi, the cats of Lesley neighbor, good layers lazing in the sun, we had to compete with the various birds who might have the most delicious plums. Plums growing every day, and purple were tastier. Too bad the birds the only piece of plum and not eat the whole thing and pick out the purple! The immature are still for them, is not it?!
Despite everything, hear and eat plenty of prunes the trees are far from empty. Hoping for the next guests to be slightly larger than that Bianca and Wieke because 1.65meter-plums are almost, haha! The warn but fixed, they are addictive good.
Indeed the sky, beautiful. And what about full moon, then you really need no light at the pool, beautiful beautiful face!
Tomorrow is her unfortunately again and we go a week north the roads unsafe. Yet not all passes are contained and therefore we will in the future stuck here sometimes our camp!
Until Bellens or emails.

Hello Ed and Yvonne,
First, I want you on behalf of all four of us say we have had tremendous meaning to us in your "stulpje".
What a beautiful place and what a nice original French house.!
We have what we wanted to do beautiful weather. If it is hot, take you so much.
We were very happy with your reliable weather update.!
The pool we found delicious and we have often made use of.
Also once in the late evening with the lights on! Great fun.
In short, we have enjoyed and have energy again to return to work.
At first glance Campuzan a quiet village and that's it.
Her place is so quiet that the sound of a bird that flies over here is perceived as loud. But it's daytime.
In the darkness you hear strange noises here.
On the ordinary sounds we've been accustomed, as the sound of the bronze bell that fills the night with slow strokes of the half and full hour.
It is really donkern then it seems that the stars are lit 1 for 1.
Suddenly we hear a beep.
"Wim, your phone beeps, certainly another text message." This is not the case.
Another beep.
An unidentifiable sound, looks like a wheel that is starting. The strange thing is that it beeps only when we talk and immediately disappears when someone gets up.
Are we being watched? And who or what is? Is it a mechanism in the house or maybe outside?
The squeak swells again, all together we find, all together is the only 2 men. The flashlight along. We find a small path on the stairs. That may have been impossible, so a small creature? Cloth over it and go across the road from custody. But anyway, back to beep. Where does it come from and which it comes.
Who can help us with the solution.
It is late at night, all night long beep. Campuzan what a turmoil?
Who knows the solution?
Wim, Jaap, Mieke and Cobie

Hi Ed and Yvonne,

The 2 weeks are unfortunately almost over.
Back to the crowds in the Netherlands.
What we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the ticket, wine and gifts! That still do not often!
Each morning we enjoyed dinner under porch (roof). What a luxury it is!
The garden is lovely, plenty of room for everyone to do what is in that sense, reading, swimming, badminton, lazing in the hammock or fruit picking. The plum, plums and plum sorbet cake were delicious.
Thanks for the restaurant tips. The pizzas at "Le Forgeron" in Betpouy are delicious. Too bad he himself halfway through our holiday went on vacation and so was closed.
Serve as a trip, especially with teenagers, is the adventure / climbing park "L'Aya" in Chiroulet. The route to it has been worth it.
What animals we have in addition to regular guests, such as deer, toads (2 green, 1 brown and many small ones), big dragonflies, lizards and spiders quite a few (not most favorite animals) also have seen something special. At least for us. In Dutch it is called I think a "stag". It is a beetle of about 8 to 10 cm with a kind of antlers.
I'll show you the pictures and accompanying story via email send. Maybe something for jet "beestenboek"?
Many greetings
Natascha, Marcel, Lisa, Timon and Sietske

Dear Ed and Yvon

We have a wonderful week in your beautiful home! Thank you!
We left it all out via SMS, but still just one more time: what do you have a palace made of! Well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and a bedroom in style. What girl has not dreamed of a pink room?!
Almost every day we can enjoy the wonderful garden. A paradise!
Lounging, swimming, playing Yahtzee.
Boots, our dog, had the week of her life. The garden provided ample room for fine run and play! And every day there was of course the walk to pick up fresh croissants and baguettes.

On days with less nice weather we have made trips to countries such Lannemezan and Trie sur Baise. We also visited Lourdes. In our opinion a must!

Just a nice Piza Le Forgeron had. Now it's time to pack up. Tomorrow morning we leave to the north.

Best regards from Groningen

Hi Ed and Yvon
It sits there in for us, but we enjoyed your house and garden with swimming pool!
We had hoped for better and warmer weather, but unfortunately we had a day about 4 days. The rest of the days was variable, sometimes as much rain, but we had a great time, good becalmed and what trips to the Pyrenees. Mauvezin been to castle, was fun and the caves of Metoux.
Today we go to watch the Tour de France, we have never done.
The plums were delicious way!
There was also a time thunderstorm at night and the thunder made the house trikkel! It was like an earthquake!
We also hope you're having in Iceland!

2 wonderful weeks!
Hello Yvonne and Ed
Despite the bad weather period across Europe we still have 2 fine vacation weeks in your "Maison Bleue"'s Eve! Surely it "the Garden of Eden" called! What a luxury such a garden. With our 3 kids and 2 dogs and what a fine house. Also as a base for the mountains.
And as a neighbor Lesley ..... that in emergencies, like a wounded cat, immediately ready to ride to the vet and to adopt! Such a neighbor is worth gold!
We will send pictures and definitely back next year?!?!
Thanks for everything!

Dear Yvonne and Ed
A wonderful week, full of tranquility, swimming, sunshine and nature. Stock only the deer were very popular. The cat of the neighbor found the breakfast very nice, "George" was the herlijk Dutch cheese to eat.
The convenience store "Vival" is not only easy for the messages we received plenty of tips on things to see and do real service!
Somewhat shocked by the turn of the weather, because what can rant! Now fully rested, unfortunately, tomorrow back to the Netherlands.

The beautiful house with so much love and care was furnished. There really is nothing missing. The beautiful SWSH with fruit trees, its delicious lawn and 't fantastic pool. The laze in the hammock, picking up the sluts, it was so delicious.

The weather was fantastic "3 cloudy days and 3 showers in three weeks. In consultation with you, our friends also came for three more nights and enjoyed visiting with us as well. The country turned out to be a great bedroom.
