When building our home, the first owner stipulated that the bedrooms would be more spacious than standard, and that the side terrace would be just as spacious as the large balcony terrace at the front. This means you can enjoy the sun in the morning during breakfast on one terrace, and the sun is a guest on the balcony terrace from the afternoon until well into the evening. The cover of this terrace is an asset of this house, especially in the early and late season. We provide complete garden furniture on both terraces.
A wooden log cabin house is sustainable and has some special properties. Even at outside temperatures of + 40°C during the day, this house cools down enough to sleep wonderfully without air conditioning. In the early and late season, small electric additional heaters are sufficient if there is a chill in the morning or evening. The house has a pleasant, warm appearance due to the wood that is visible up to the ridge of the roof in both the living and sleeping areas. The openness of the wooden construction provides breathing space, brings peace and coziness. Both bedrooms are almost the same size. For the master bedroom we chose a queen-size bed of 180cm X 200cm with 2 separate mattresses. In the other bedroom there are 2 separate single beds of 90cm x 200cm. We provide good mattresses and fine bedding. The price includes made-up beds. The bathroom is spacious. A walk-in shower with Grohe comfort provides bathing pleasure. A sink and storage space for your towels, etc. completes this space. A hairdryer is provided. The toilet is located in a separate room, just next to the bathroom.
A new ceramic hob was installed in the kitchen.
There is a spacious refrigerator with small freezer compartment, a practical dishwasher and a multifunctional oven (microwave, grill, combination). In the cupboards and drawers you will find everything necessary to satisfy even a demanding hobby chef.
The holiday park is very child-friendly with a playground for football, volleyball, an enclosed tennis court and lots of play equipment, including a safe trampoline. The large swimming pool is open from June 1 to September 22 and has a separate children's pool. Parasols and sunbeds are provided here. The snack bar is only open in high season for a snack and drink with a view of the swimming pool.
Because we live about 7 km from the holiday park, it is easier for us to be flexible with arrival and departure times. You call half an hour before you arrive to confirm the time, and we will be on site quickly. The same applies to unexpected problems - we are quick to find a solution.
And yes, as lovers of French gastronomy and delicious wines, we are happy to share our experiences and knowledge of the local restaurants and wine tastings in the many chateaus in the area. Do you have problems with the French language? We can also lend a helping hand there if necessary.
