Looking for a detached house in a beautiful spot in the French countryside, with all the sights of the Dordogne, Limousin and Lot around the corner?
Then would love to welcome you to our domain: 'Gites the Labrot', where we converted our bake house, the barn and the farmhouse into confortable cottages. The houses are a good distance from each other and have multiple terraces so there is always the possibility to enjoy the sun or shade on your one terrace or garden. The location of the houses also offers a lot of privacy. The barn is our largest gite.
Once the animals stood on the groundfloor because this is the coolest floor, with its 60 cm thick walls, now there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The open plan spacious living room (15 x 5.5 m) and balcony are on the first floor. The balcony really has the best views of the area!
Cooking in the fully equipped kitchen is possible, but it is also possible to join us every evening for dinner. We also offer twice a week a special extended meal. On Saturday this is the (arrival) BBQ on Saturdays ans on Wednesday we organise a "French evening" in which we prepare a minimum four-course diner with all fresh produce from the local market or from our own garden. There is also a daily fresh bread and fresh eggs service!
The stable has a fenced yard complete with patio furniture and a gas BBQ. There is a spacious terrace beneath the balcony. The balcony is spacious (6x3 meters) and adjoins the living room and offers wonderful views over the valley and the land of neighbors. These 41 (!) acres of forest and pasture land are freely accessible and offer next to this great view, the possibility of walks. The grounds of Labrot itself is approximately 5,000 m2, and is shared with the guests of the other two gites. You will find hammocks, a lovely swimming pool of 9x4 meters, a bowling alley, trampoline and
play area with a swing set.
From April, the pool on the property open for guests. Labrot is located in the southernmost tip of the Corrèze (Limousin) four kilometers from the Dordogne region. This part of the Corrèze is located on the foothills of the Massif Central, which provides a beautiful rolling countryside, with a beautiful view every other angle. You can find Labrot at the end of a dead-end road of 1.5 kilometers. The houses are on top of the southern slope, with beautiful views over the valley.

An old farmhouse from 1839 with three large outbuildings. 60 cm thick walls, stunning views over the valley, and at night a magnificent starry sky!
In 2014 we moved and started the renovation of the outbuildings. Since 2015, the Stable and the Bakehouse are for rent, from 2016 is also the farmhouse is also for rent.

Around the pool are several terraces, so it's always possible to find a place in the sun or in the shade. It is shared with the guests of the bakehouse (max 2 persons), and guests of the farm (maximum 6 people)
