Our very attractive house is fully equipped. The area provides many possibilities. If you want you can submit your own boat house directly on a buoy. You can use it then through two connections directly sail to sea. The lake is perfect for a sailing boat with retractable keel or centerboard. Especially the wines have received in the last 30 years much prominence in the region. Blanquette de Limoux, Muscat de Rivesaltes, the wines of Corbières and Fitou are extremely pleasant to drink. LE BARCARÈS Barcarès has a seaport, partly for fishing and partly marina. Every morning va 9.00 there is fresh fish for sale. Daily kinds of festivities, 3 times weekly market. All shops and medical facilities. SPORTS All kinds of water sports such as water skiing behind your boat as well as the water-ski, sailing, (kite / wind) surfing, diving, canoeing are possible both on the lake (15 x 8 km) and the Mediterranean Sea. Several sailing, surfing and diving schools are in the immediate vicinity. In addition to water sports, there are many riding schools, tennis courts, mini golf, bowling bowls and mountain biking opportunities. After we lived for 35 years in this area, we were given the opportunity to purchase an exceptional piece of land right on the water. This allowed us to build our dream and family. The house was completed in 2006 and perfected further in 2007 and landscaped garden. Now the garden is mature and the house completely off, we enjoy it. We werden zeer vriendelijk onthaald door Henk en Marjolein, in hun prachtig huis met mooi zwembad en tuin. De verschillende zithoekjes waren apart.
Het was er heel rustig aan het water en op wandelafstand van het strand.
De bakker kortbij, was vooral smorgens makkelijk.
We hebben vele uitstapjes gemaakt naar Perpignan, Carcassonne , Narbonne en Bezier
Jammer maar onze vakantie van 14 dagen zit erop, misschien tot binnenkort!
Prachtig gelegen villa, direct aan het water, in een rustige wijk die is afgesloten met een hek met toegangscode en gelegen op wandelafstan van het strand. 's Avonds kan je de verlichting aansteken en is de tuin prachtig verlicht. In het huis is alles aanwezig om met een groep van 10 personen een geweldige vakantie te beleven. Een supermarkt is te vinden in het dorp zelf en grote supermarkten op max 15 minuten rijden. Erg leuk is dat je verse vis, mosselen en oesters kan kopen in het haventje zelf. Activiteiten in de buurt: mini-golf, Aqualand, Adventure Park, waterski, jetski, kite-surfing,... Ook een goede uitvalsbasis voor tochten naar het binnenland (o.a. Carcassonne, Perpignan,..) of Spanje (Portbou, Barcelona,...). Kortom, wij hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad!!
