This tastefully decorated villa called 'Les Olivettes' lies on the south side with a magnificent view over the beautiful valley of the Gard. The house is in the countryside directly on nature and olive groves and has all modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi and a modern kitchen.
The house from the living room doors to the veranda which runs the two sun terraces with the large (12m x 6m) pool and spacious garden. The house, terraces and garden are somewhat higher than the surrounding area, so there is much of a view and little privacy. Around the house is a spacious garden with olive trees, oleander and lavender. Behind the house is private space for parking cars.
The property is maintained with care and is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The living room (40m²) and the modern open kitchen (12m²) are situated on the ground floor and are equipped with all necessary equipment, such as Wi-Fi and satellite TV with Dutch channels. On the ground floor are two further bedrooms: a large double room with French doors to the porch and a single room. The floor is completed by a bathroom with double sinks, bath and shower, a separate toilet and a utility room with washing machine.
On the first floor there is a master bedroom (30m²) with private shower and toilet. This double bedroom has French doors to a roof terrace which offers a beautiful and distant views of the surrounding countryside.
The house has an indoor studio (26m2) with separate entrance, on the porch. The studio is a spacious double bedroom, bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.
Les Olivettes is situated in the hamlet Foussargues, near the town of Uzes. That is a municipality in the department of Le Gard in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Fresh bread and croissants picks you up at the bakery in Montaren-et-Saint-Mediers, a village five kilometers away. Just as far as you can also find the Intermarché, situated on the road to Uzes. The towns Avignons, Nimes and Arles are all less than an hour's drive away. In an hour's drive from the beach at Montpellier and a half hours to the coast near Marseilles.
Dear visitor, I'm Harma and live in the Netherlands. After we aanschaften we have extensively renovated in the local style and modernized the house in 2002. Since we ourselves go 2-3 times a year with a lot of fun, there are still many weeks that we do not want to stand empty. Maintenance and management, we have good Dutch friends live nearby.
