This sunny apartment of over 100 m2 for max 6 persons is located on the ground floor with a spacious terrace , garden 500 m2 on the south , and a great view . This apartment is part of a beautiful traditional chalet. It has a spacious living room with an open kitchen that is fully equipped. There is also a bedroom on the ground floor and the second plus the bathroom on the first floor.
In the basement, which is also very spacious, is a third bedroom. From all rooms you have a fantastic view of the mountains.

There is a large supermarket less than a five-minute drive away and it is also very conveniently located in relation to Chatel and the other villages.

The Chalet consists of five apartments all privately owned. It is an ideal location for a winter sports holiday .
In addition, the bus is waiting for you at the roundabout to take you to the various ski lifts. There are cross-country ski runs and hiking trails almost on the doorstep (you walk down) where sled dogs are driven. In the summer there are several hiking trails and cycling / mountain bike trails in the immediate vicinity and throughout the valley.

The telecabin La Pantiaz is 800 m from the apartment. This lift takes you to Le Braitaz, followed by all lifts of the ' Portes du Soleil ' ski area. This area with 650 km of slopes and 200 lifts guarantees fantastic skiing / boarding for both beginners and advanced winter sports enthusiasts. A large part of the ski area is equipped with snow cannons and offers a high degree of snow security.

In addition to activities in the ski area, there are also opportunities for beautiful snow walks in the nature reserves around Mont de Grange and the rest of the Haute Savoie. The apartment is also easily accessible in winter. The road to the apartment is always cleaned well after snow showers.

The apartment is fully equipped. On the terrace you have a picnic table and garden chairs at your disposal . Next to the apartment is the car park with 3 parking spaces , one of which is covered . These belong exclusively to our apartment.

This is also an ideal place for a holiday in the summer . This area is known for the beautiful walks in the mountains or the challenging routes for the bicycle or mountain bike . Due to the various ski lifts (which also operate in the summer), the area has very varied options for walking, hiking, cycling and mountain biking . In the area there are several opportunities for swimming and rafting . A stream is 150 meters away and there are small lakes nearby. Chatel also has a modern swimming pool and spa .

Many of the ski lifts are operational in the low season; so there is still a lot to do.

NB.: Tip: If you drive to and from the Alps on Sundays, this usually saves you 2 - 4 hours. Over the years we have increasingly started driving on Sundays and it takes about 8.5 hours via Germany. After all, there is no freight traffic. Fridays and Saturdays are busy with freight and holiday traffic.

We are a Dutch family with four children who recently purchased this beautiful apartment. Partly for us and for the rental. We fell for the view and the space in the apartment. The nice thing about the apartment is that everyone can retreat if necessary. There's plenty of room. And everywhere you look the view is beautiful. In addition, it has a spacious garden which is fenced which is also very nice.
