Villa Lou Cigalou: beautiful view

Welcome to Lou Cigalou (= provencal for la cigale = cricket). Our villa is built against a hill and consists of an upper house and an apartment in the lower house (basement). At 500 meters from the picturesque village of Saint Jeannet, our detached villa is situated on 2500 m2 of land with swimming pool, spacious terraces, private garden. View of the sea with a panorama from Nice via Antibes to Cannes. Stroll to the village for a baguette or glass of wine. In the garden the walk starts into the mountains. The Baou's (low mountains), which start almost behind the house, provide shelter from winter winds from the Alps. The upper house has a large closed terrace of 70 m2. The terrace is partially covered, providing shade in summer and shelter in winter.

The upper house has a spacious bedroom with a 2 person Hästen bed. In the loft above the living room is a separate sleeping room with 2 beds and on the loft is an extra folding bed. Ideal for children.
The apartment in the basement has a separate bedroom with 2 single beds and a living area with kitchenette and private bathroom. French doors to the terrace. The sitting room has an extra sofa bed. (Top and bottom cannot be rented separately).

The private pool is located on a large terrace (with ping-pong table) and can be used from the end of May to about mid-October. 20 minutes by car to the beach of Cagnes sur Mer and Airport Nice. To Vence 10 min, golf 30 min and winter sports 60 min. There are public chargers for electric cars about 450 m away.

Lou Cigalou is also very sporty: walk to the Baou from the backyard or on the Col de Vence. Bicycles in the immediate vicinity or renting (electric) bicycles in Gagnes-sur-Meren. There are six golf courses in the vicinity.

Our villa is also attractive in the winter period . When the sun is shining, and it often does in winter, you can sit on the terrace. Coffee at 10 am, lunch and then a cup of tea at 4 am. At more than an hour's drive there are two beautiful ski areas: Isola 2000 and Auron.
