Farmhouse in the Dordogne!
House, adjacent to the yard of a farm (for max 7 persons).
The agence who formerly rented this house no longer exists - that is why we in this way the existence of this publishing house and you would like the opportunity to go there. In the hope you there just as happy if we - we are staying here for years every summer for several weeks with a lot of fun.

What this really French place so special, close to the many attractions of this beautiful region but also very quiet rural location and with the possibility of very hearty peasant family to help with activities at the farm (cows, ducks, chickens and rabbits carry , calves to give the bottle and the egg hunt). Very large garden / orchard and its adjacent lake.
Classification of the house:
Bgg: small living room (with sofa bed), large simple kitchen (4 gas rings, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine), basic bathroom with shower and sink and separate toilet.
1st floor: two bedrooms, one time with three beds (1 x 1.40 m wide, 2 x 1.20 m wide), once with two beds (each 1.20 m wide), extra cot is available. All beds have duvets and blankets.
Large garden with several fruit trees, playground for children, two chairs, garden table and chairs, BBQ. Contiguous, separated by fence garden, a lake (40 x 100 meters) with delicious bathing - pier with stairs on one side and slightly tapering; the lake belongs to the farm and is filled with spring water from nearby source. The lake is used as drinking water supply for the animals and is only accessible to residents and tenants of farm house.
La Salvetat, a hamlet 30 km southeast of Périgueux, 30 km distance of about 10 km from Sarlat and Les Eyzies. Rouffignac nearest village is 5 km (restaurants, supermarket and bakery, local Sunday market and famous caves with prehistoric rock drawings, can be visited by train). Distance to The Hague: 1000 km.
Beautiful environment: the rivers Dordogne and Vezere for great canoe trips (children can get along with life jackets to), many castles, prehistoric caves (especially tight around Les Eyzies, both with stalactites and with petroglyphs) nice French villages and ( 4 km away), a beautiful swimming lake with sandy beach, paddle boats and canoes at Fossemagne.
In the vicinity are several possibilities for horse riding. Bicycles are for rent in many villages (beautiful, hilly bike lanes) and there are several theme parks: eg educational archaeological parks and adventure parks (including a short distance a great Kletterwald).
The first wine châteaux of Bordeaux are about 100 km away (easily reached on main road).
Very friendly and warm peasant family, a small farm with about 60 dairy cows, ducks, chickens and rabbits. Watch in farming and occasionally help with eg feeding the cows, bottle show calves, cows to the fields, ducks carry, rabbits and chickens and collecting eggs is run with great enthusiasm, but not neccesary.
