Our house is located on the border of the Dordogne and the Charente in the holiday village Village le Chat, overlooking the (swimming/fishing) lake and a raft to get to the other side is located directly at the bottom of our garden.
A heated swimming pool, children's pool, and tennis courts less than 100m away!
The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is therefore very suitable for 2 couples.
Look carefully at the photos and you will understand the atmosphere. We play golf (almost too) a lot on the adjacent 18-hole Golf de la Preze course. You get a discount there as a tenant.
House is wonderfully centrally located. Village le Chat is a park where families have been returning for generations. Montbron is 10 km away, where you can do your shopping. Angouleme and la Rochefoucauld are close and interesting to visit. Angouleme with medieval center. Chateau van la Rochefoucauld is super interesting, especially on Sundays when "the current resident herself" gives a tour!
Many outdoor activities, cycling for tough people, canoeing, well-marked walks, but also spectacular caves.
