Pechamande is a spacious, authentic holiday home sleeping 10, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, panoramic views, 12 x 6m private heated pool, tennis court, WiFi internet.

Perched on the edge of a Medieval village high above the River Lot, Pechamande sits in 4 acres of grounds and offers panoramic views over the river valley with the Chateau de Cenevieres in the foreground and the cliffs of St Cirq Lapopie (voted most beautiful village in France in 2012) as a backdrop.

Interior
The accommodation is spacious and consists of two separate apartments that together form one house; on the top floor is a living room with fireplace and kitchen opening onto the south-west facing covered dining terrace; at garden level there is a further living/dining room with adjoining kitchen which opens onto the patio and the large illuminated and heated private swimming pool. It has 3 bedrooms on garden level, the master bedroom 2x 160 x 200 with ensuite bathroom, bedroom 2 (2x 140 x 200 + 1x 90 x 200), bedroom 3 (2x 90 x 200) and 2 bedrooms on the first floor, bedroom 4 ( 2x 160 x 200 + ensuite bathroom) and bedroom 5 (2x 90x 200 + ensuite bathroom), finally there is the independent 4th bathroom on the ground floor. Facilities include 2
dishwashers, washing machine, dryer, microwave, satellite TV/DVD/CD and WiFi internet. There are also 6 bicycles, barbecue, table tennis and basketball. Tennis rackets, table tennis bats and accompanying balls are widely available. Furthermore, two cupboards full of games.

Outside
Large, completely private garden (8000m2) with private swimming pool 6 x 12 meters, private tennis court and ample play space. Also included are 6 bicycles, barbecue, table tennis and basketball.

Environment
Pechamande is 15 minutes from local shops, restaurants and markets and, equidistant from the towns of Cahors, Figeac and Villefranche-de-Rouergue, it is an ideal location from which to sample the cultural and sporting delights of the Lot and Aveyron.

Several beaches and places to fish can be found on the banks of the Lot and Célé rivers. Also, this area is perfectly suited for a number of outdoor activities such as cycling, fishing, walking and bird watching. St-Cirq-Lapopie and the village of Rocamadour are just two examples of the beautifully preserved architecture found in the region.

The nearest cafe and “depot de pain” can be found in Larnagol (0.8 km). The nearest restaurant and some shops and the post office are in Cenevieres (5 km). Cajarc and Limogne are both just a 10 minute drive away and offer weekly markets and a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants

We are Thijs and Lydia Mennes and have long lived in this beautiful region of the Lot/Dordogne. We rent out this beautiful holiday home (ea) for the owners with great pleasure. We regularly return to this region to visit the houses. The houses are often in a wonderfully quiet location, yet not too far from civilization and of course always with a fantastic private pool, well-maintained, clean and with excellent service!
