Enjoy the peace and nature!
Through a long sandy path you come to our detached farm with lots of privacy, 3000 m2 of land and super views.

A brook flows along the site where you can fish. There are also fruit trees, including pear and plum. Furthermore, a vegetable garden with fresh herbs for delicious cooking.

Many plants in the borders, which you can simply pick and put in a vase. Fine seating on the terrace and in the garden.

Of course there is also a bbq and an outdoor stove for the cool summer evening. The wood for this is included.

We also have olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pepper, salt, herbs, sugar, detergent, toilet paper, dishwashers etc. so you do not have to bring all this from the Netherlands and you can cook there (cookbooks are also there) We assume that if something touches it, it is supplemented by the guests so that the next does not go wrong.

Furthermore, the ground floor is suitable for people with a house dust mite allergy. The duvets, mattresses and pillows have an anti-allergy cover, and there are tiling on the entire ground floor.

In Igornay (8 km) you can do small groceries at the huit a huit, and eat out delicious at la billaudaire.

Among others in Arnay le duc, 12 km from our house, is a swimming lake. Lac de panne iere and lac des settons are also recommended.

Autun, and town about 20 minutes drive from our house, has of course several large supermarkets, market on Friday, a swimming pool (also covered area) a marina, golf course etc.

We have an internet subscription but since we are in a remote area we can not give any guarantees about the quality.

Welcome to the site of our holiday home. This wonderful farm we bought in 2007 to occasionally escape the bustle of Amsterdam. Here we enjoy the peace, nature and the wonderful French life. Live outside, be busy in the garden, chop wood for the fire and enjoy the starry sky while enjoying a glass of wine! In 2009 we were even married in our own garden.

Additional information

In Burgundy on the edge of the Morvan, traveling at 800 km from Amsterdam, lies our beautifully remodeled and renovated farmhouse. In the neighborhood of Autun (20 km) and Arnay le Duc. The house looks quite out over the wooded valley where a farmer's cows graze. Miles of views across forests and heuvels.Het can accommodate 6 people plus a baby or kind.Het house has a large (3000m ²) free garden with much privacy, fruit trees and a beekje.Ook you can swim in the lake Arnay le duc (13 km) and Autun.De Morvan regional park is open from 80 km x 60 km. This is no industry, there are no large cities, no four lane roads and is only based on natural crops and livestock. It is a green, hilly park with forests and meadows. It flows many streams and rivers, there are lakes and reservoirs. The scenery is beautiful. It is sparsely populated and beautiful, not tourist area with a sloping, lovely scenery and beautiful views. Our house is on the edge of the Morvan in the department of Cote d'Or. It is an ideal place for people who are not looking for fun and entertainment, but prefer peace, quiet and space. The whole area is a beautiful wandelgebied.Voor culture lovers there is also plenty to do: Romanesque churches in abundance, castles, ancient towns such as summer concerts and Cluny, Macon, Beaune, Chalon sur Saone and Autun. And then the farmers' markets and brocanterieën worthwhile. Finally, there are several restaurants in the vicinity with excellent cooking.
Directly from the house you can make nice walks. Just a walk through the woods or along the sloping meadows. You do not "mountaineer", but the hills or let you feel that "the condition is working. In the house are of course different folders with wandelroutes. In the Morvan are excellent opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding and golfen. In the Roman town of Autun (20 kilometers) there is a 9-hole golf course. Here sportiness combined with a visit to impressive remains from Roman times. Indeed, Autun was founded by Emperor Augustus and the ancient city gate, part of the meter-thick ramparts and a Roman amphitheater are preserved. Market in Autun there on Wednesday and (especially) Friday morning. Many of the merchants offer homemade sausages, goat cheese, in the Morvan matured hams, mushrooms and truffles aan.Belangrijke museums are found in such things Autun (Musée Rolin) and Chateau Chinon (museum Mitterrand, who was mayor), but also Saint Brisson, where the park that is devoted entirely to the Morvan. All about nature, geology, flora and fauna is at issue here, but also the history of the Morvan and its inhabitants is belicht.Archeologisch Bribracte is seen in the south of the Morvan, the most important. Excavations are still going to give an idea of ??how the Celts here more than 2000 years ago lived, how they were subjected by the Romans and how Bribracte then a wealthy Roman settlement was. The story of Asterix and Obelix happened in reality here af.Beaune has an old center that can be visited easily on foot. The historic core is surrounded by ramparts. The construction of these defenses began in the late fifteenth century and lasted until about 1550. There are several bastions and towers have been preserved.
