The holiday home in Lanty is located on the hills and has a lovely large area (1400 m2) where the children can play and romp.
The house is located in a tiny village next to the church. In the nearby area there are forests to walk in and various walking routes.
The holiday home is located on top of a hill. You therefore have great panoramic views and a sloping garden.

Holiday/family house for max 12 people:

The house consists of 3 layers. Upon arrival, the ground floor, attic and the ground floor house directly on the garden, where you can go outside and inside.

Additional information

For kids and adults, we have a swimming pool in and around the garden, life-size chess set, trampoline, a campfire area, beautiful large wooden table (12 people), sun loungers for sunbathing Opposite the house there is a pétanque area. In our 'manoir' there are various board games available. We also have many (children's) DVDs, CDs, books, magazines and donald ducks.

SWIM / FISH:
In Luzy there is an outdoor swimming pool, in Saint Honoré-les-Bains (15 min drive) an indoor + outdoor swimming pool and a spa, in La Nocle-maulaix (10 min drive) a recreational lake and near Sémelay (10 min drive) a river where you can swim. There are also several fishing lakes.

THEME PARKS:
There are 3 amusement parks near our holiday home in Lanty:
- Le Creusot: Parc Touristique des Combes: Park for children from 3 to 99 years with 14 attractions such as roller coaster, gossip course etc. See http://www.creusot.net/tourisme.pdf
- Toulon sur Arroux: Diverti'Parc: Park for children from 0 to 14 years with various non-motorized play areas, 10 different labyrinths and a cow-feeding place.

France's largest funfair lands annually in June in Decize (30 min drive)

FISHING:
There are many fishing lakes and rivers. You can get a fishing license in a 10-minute drive in Fours or Luzy.

THE LOIRE RIVER:
The Loire River is less than half an hour away and you can visit one of the many famous Loire castles. In addition, the Loire region is known for its delicious (sparkling) wines. You can rent various boats on the river.

CITIES:
In Burgundy you will find many Roman remains, churches and cities. Lanty is a 1-hour drive from the beautiful Roman city of Autun and a 1-hour drive from the dynamic city of Nevers.

SPAs:
The fashionable villages of Saint-Honore-les-Bains, Vichy and Bourbon-Lancy have a spa where you can completely unwind.

BROCANTES:
In the surrounding Burgundian villages and towns you can visit flea markets almost daily.

THE MORVAN NATIONAL PARK:
The holiday home is on the southern edge of the beautiful De Morvan nature reserve where you can enjoy all the natural beauty (forests, rivers and lakes), walk, cycle, hike and enjoy various (extreme) water sports such as rafting and canoeing. In winter you can even ski on the highest mountain 'Mont Préneley' of 855 meters high.

TERNANT:
Unique triptychs from Ternant: this altarpiece illustrates the seven phases of the life of the Virgin, it is a triptych consisting of painted and gilt carvings and several panels of oil paint on wood, transferred to canvas. The size is impressive: 1.58 m high and 3.15 m long.

TOURIST OFFICE:
There is a tourist office in Luzy. They also speak English there.

DIRECT ENVIRONMENT:
Our holiday house "Villa Belvedere" is located on the southern hills of the nature reserve the Morvan South Burgundy and really has a beautiful view of the typical landscape of southern Burgundy: gentle hills with hedges and Charolais cows (also under the garden).
The cottage is located next to a forest where you can walk and children can build a hut.

MESSAGES and MARKET:
Twice a week the baker through the hamlet. Here you can buy fresh bread. Additionally, you can bake fresh bread in our bakmachines or you can drive to the village of Luzy (10 min. Drive) where including some bakeries and 2 supermarkets are. In Luzy you can also visit the weekly market on Friday

The cottage is situated 780 km from Utrecht and 305 km from Paris.
SOUTH BURGUNDY:
Southeast of Paris, the Burgundy region. With an area of ??almost 32,000 square kilometers, the area about as big as Belgium. The Côte d'Or covering 8765 km2, Nièvre 6815 km2 and 7425 km2 Yonne and Saône-et-Loire 8575 km2. Burgundy is bounded on the north by Champagne, in the east by Savoy and Franche-Comte, in the south by the Beaujolais and Lyonnais and to the west by the Loire Valley.
Burgundy has a true mosaic of distinctive landscapes, but especially gentle hills (between 150 and 600 meters) and broad river valleys. Only the Morvan what is more mountainous with peaks up to 900 meters, including the Mont Beuvray (821 m) and the Bois du Roi (902 m).
Burgundy is divided into four different areas. To the east lies the wide river plain of the Saône. The north and the west consists of fertile plains along the sedimentary basin of the Lower Burgundy forms, around the towns of Auxerre and Chablis.
In the center are limestone plateaus ending in the east in steep slopes, Arrière-Cote and Cote. To the south are granite masses and plateaus of the beautiful hilly nature reserve Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan, and further the Charolais and the Mâconnais.
Burgundy is a watery area. Northbound flow Marne, Aube, the Ource, the Seine, the Ozerain, the Armançon the Serein, the Cure, Yonne and the Loire with their partly to the south flowing tributaries such as the Arconce, the Bourbince, the Arroux and the Nièvre. Saône runs south, with the northward-flowing tributaries of the Ouche, the Dheune and Grosne. In the 19th century the main rivers connected by a number of channels: Canal de Bourgogne (between Yonne and Saône), Canal du Centre (between the Loire and Saone), Canal du Rhône au Rhin and Canal de la Marne à la Saône.
The villa can only be fully rented in the high season.
Apart from the summer holiday (school holiday) you can also rent the upper house. part of it. We are then in the sous-sol gite and respect your privacy.
