The cottage of Le Sabotier is a quietly located old clay mill. A great place for a romantic couple or a small family who appreciates space and privacy. The house has many original details, such as a bread oven, French beamed ceiling and red tiled floor.
Behind the house: A spacious garden overlooking the Morvan and Chateau de Chastellux. There are many fruit trees in the garden, including hazelnut, grapes, plums, pears, apples, etc. There is also a vegetable garden with lettuce, beans, tomatoes, herbs etc.
The house is further located in a small hamlet with 4 houses. The traffic is limited to a tractor and the postman twice a day. In the house you will find a cozy living room with sitting area, wood burning stove, KTV with video and dining area. Half open fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, combi microwave, dishwasher, senseo and ordinary coffee maker etc. On the first floor is a 6x4 meter bedroom with a romantic double bed and a sofa bed. Upon request we can accommodate a cot. Bathroom and toilet are on the ground floor.
A summer day in 2000. We were lost on a country road in the Morvan. Woman and children sleep well and there was a small sign A Vendre. 1 day later we signed the purchase contract and La Diligence was ours. 14 years of vacancy had left its tracks but all original details were still there. Now ten years later we saved 4 abandoned houses in the area. We are still working in the Netherlands, but are all vacations in France. Many families have enjoyed one of our homes

Real tenants, real opinions.
100% real tenants, real opinions.
Only renters who have booked through the Micazu booking calendar can write a review. Then we know for certain that the ratings are from tenants who have actually been in the holiday home.
We find reviews very important, both the positive and the negative. When evaluating your stay in a holiday home, we ask that you to take the following guidelines into account:
Reviews should be about the rented holiday home
The most useful reviews are detailed and help others make better decisions. We ask you to simply review the holiday home and leave other things out of the review.
Respect the privacy of others
Do not include email addresses, phone numbers, websites, social media accounts, and similar information from others in your review.
Reviews must be respectful
We expect you to write family friendly reviews.
This is not allowed:
Ratings that do not comply with our guidelines can be removed and will no longer be included in the average grade.
