The name of the house refers to the function it had in earlier times: here the bread for the whole village was brought by a baker from a larger village further away. Besides a large dining table there is a seating area and a closet with books, DVDs, games, radio and TV (no TV channels) with DVD player. There is plenty of information (and walking) present across the area. Furthermore, in this area a beautiful fireplace with a wood burning stove that can be used on cooler days in spring or late season. The house has two spacious bedrooms. One bedroom has a 2-bed and from this room you also have access to the bathroom with a sink, shower and toilet. The other bedroom has two 1-beds. Both feature a wardrobe. A cot and highchair are optionally available. In the spacious basement under the living area besides a washing machine and bicycles can possibly be placed. There is also a barbecue. At the back of the house is a spacious and sunny terrace on two levels. This terrace overlooking a large private lawn, the orchard behind it, the adjacent meadows and the hills on the achtergrond.Arnay-sous-Vitteaux is a quiet village with about 100 inhabitants. It has no shops, but the bakery will come almost every day passes. In the nearby villages Vitteaux and Venarey-les-Laumes (resp. 8 and 12 km.) You can find supermarkets and other stores.
