Even if you under my English name, Mary Grahame, suggest something else, I was born and raised in Sluis, Zeeland near the Belgian border, but just in the Netherlands.
I have been living for 40 years in France. The former cork factory is my permanent home and adjacent to La maison du bouchonnier, so I can, if you appreciate, provide tips on what to do in the area. But also in the house you will find extensive documentation on what to do.
