Experience the Middle Ages like the 60s - 70s! Detached vintage furnished gite on a closed domain in the center of Herisson
Domain consisting of a house + the gite and a very pleasant sun-facing green garden.
The gite consists of Living room with wood stove - Kitchen - Double bedroom - Bathroom with shower and toilet - Fully enclosed garden of 500 m2.
We have completely renovated the gite and furnished it in a vintage style, unfortunately we can no longer allow pets and it is a smoke-free house! Deposit is 100 euros. Electricity, water but also tourist tax are included in the rental price.
We rent our house for 2 people from the beginning of May to the end of September. Rental prices per day: 90 euros (minimum rental is 3 days) Bath, bed and kitchen linen are free of charge. Cleaning supplies are provided.
The "Allier" region is a large nature reserve (Forêt de Tronçais) in central France. There is an abundance of nature, forests for walking, cycling. And there are the small picturesque villages, old churches and weekly brocantes... An hour's drive away there are cities and sights such as Moulins, Appremont, Bourges... but also closer is Montluçon.
Our village, Herisson, is a small LIVING medieval village with entertainment (artists and performers) and musical performances during the summer months.
Picturesque restaurant with a nice street terrace, flea shop, pastry shop and a small supermarket (but a 10-minute drive away you will find a large Carrefour and Netto, petrol station, etc...)
In 2021 we visited the most beautiful villages in France. A perfect place to enjoy the silence, make an active holiday or take a break while passing through.
We have an abundance of birds here and in the evening thousands of stars and planets that you can see in the dark sky. In Herisson dark is...really dark.
