Maussac

we enjoyed the stay!

It was a quiet area, we were able to enjoy the silence again
experienced. You can immediately start a short walk nearby because in the
nearby there is a grove and there are fields where you can walk through. It
domain, the pool and the house were clean. The kitchen is very good
equipped, also for hobby chefs. There are sharp knives, a toaster,
oven, microwave, salad spinners, storage boxes, bread slicer, lots
cutlery and plates,... you don't think it possible, actually everything is
present. The rooms in the residence were spacious and pleasant. In the
bedroom with 4 beds you have to bend a bit to get to the
bathroom, but that immediately makes it charming again.
We've been looking for flaws but actually found none.
For some people it might be a bit annoying that you always
have to take the car to e.g. to go to a village or for a long one
to take a walk. There are bicycles available, that creates
options that we have not used.
Highly recommended and worth repeating

We had 2 wonderful weeks in Maussec. A great house where we live
3 families entertained us very well. Peace, space, freedom and
fully equipped! Thanks also to the administrators Ruud and Gerda

The holiday home is nice and cool in the summer and it is also wonderful to stay in the early and late season. Maussac has a large private garden of 1.1 ha, so you are in an oasis of space and tranquility, located between fields and forests and you have beautiful
view over the rolling countryside.

Inside
The Maussac holiday home has its own entrance, a lounge with a wood-burning stove, a dining area and a large flat screen TV. The kitchen has all the comfort you need. There is a bathroom with 2 showers and a
bath. In the storage room you will find a washing machine, dryer and drying rack.

On the first floor are 5 bedrooms (bedroom 1 and 2 with air conditioning). The 1st (family room) has a double bed with two single beds behind a low wall. This bedroom also has its own bathroom (bath, shower, sink and toilet). The 2nd and 3rd bedroom have a double bed and a cot. The 4th bedroom consists of 3 single beds and the 5th bedroom consists of 2 single beds. On the floor you will find an extra bathroom with
bath, shower, sink and toilet.

Outside
Maussac is set in its own grounds of 1.1 hectares, situated between fields and woods and with beautiful views over the rolling countryside. Enjoy the beautiful fauna and flora; buzzards, falcons, owls, deer and polecats cross your path. In the large garden you will find a private swimming pool (9 x 4.5 m), terrace with outdoor table and chairs, large BBQ, sun loungers and parasols and a trampoline for the children. Maussac is an ideal summer destination! There are also about six bicycles at Maussac.

Environment
In this region you will find picturesque villages and towns, with terraces on medieval market squares with ancient wooden market halls, such as Villeréal, the bastide town from the 13th century, and Pujols, Castillonès,
Marmande and the capital Agen. In the area there are many possibilities for sports: hiking, horseback riding, water skiing, fishing, cycling, ...

At the back of the house is the gîte where the (very friendly) Dutch manager couple discreetly resides. Here you can go for the key or possibly for emergencies. The gîte is located in a closed and completely separate area with its own terrace and entrance (not overlooked), so that you will not be disturbed during your stay.
