The house is comfortably furnished and offers a lot of privacy. It stands on 900 square meters of private land in the Ore Mountains ( Erzgebirge) at almost 1000 meters altitude on the edge of the village of Horni Blatna (Mountain town Platten). In the village there are shops where you can get your sandwiches, for example. There are also plenty of restaurants where you can eat well.
The house is 25 kilometers from the famous spa and golf resort Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad), 40 kilometers from Marianske Lazne and 150 km from Prague (Prag).
In addition to a lot of culture, there is also a lot of nature in the immediate vicinity. The walking routes to the most beautiful places in the area start at the driveway. The village borders a nature reserve which guarantees hours of winter, hiking, sports and mountain biking fun. New is the 162 km long mountain bike route through the Ore Mountains, the "Stoneman Miriquidi".
In the summer there are many activities to do in the immediate vicinity, such as: Swimming, archery, horseback riding, mountain biking, taking a big step down the mountain, Nordic walking, climbing and last but not least playing golf.
At 6 km is a brand new activity center, plesivec.eu, where you can do the following: Giant Swing, Climbing, Free fall and archery.
Also new is the mountain bike trail at Klinovec. 4 Beautifully landscaped courses, a challenge for everyone, beginner or expert.
Don't forget to visit the castle in Loket, the glassworks in Karlovy Vary and the springs in the beautiful town of Karlovy Vary. The always open goods market in Potucky ( Johanngeorgenstadt ) just 4 km away is also a real attraction.
In addition to a lot of culture, there is also a lot of nature in the immediate vicinity. The hiking trails start at the driveway, including the Grand Randonnee and the village adjacent to a nature reserve, which guarantees hours of hiking and mountain biking fun.

In winter there are many activities to do in the immediate vicinity. The cottage is 100 meters from Loipes, which are freshly prepared every Wednesday and Saturday. This ensures hours of cross-country fun. Only two kilometers away there are ski slopes for the novice skier and snowboarder. A brand new ski slope has opened a 15-minute drive away. Within half an hour's drive there are ski areas for the advanced skier and snowboarder, Klinovec and Oberwiesenthal.
