The village has ski rental companies and 2 ski schools. Especially for small children, Cerny Dul is ideal for learning to ski, because the village has special children's lifts. The adults also get their money's worth at the two three-person chairlifts.
The cottages are also centrally located in relation to the other ski areas: Janske Lazne (5 km), Spindleruv Mlyn (25 km), Pec pod Snezkou (12 km/highest mountain in the Czech Republic).
