Starkov is centrally located between the towns of Trutnov, Nachod and Broumov. Also, 17 km away is the very beautiful Polish Resort / Kudowa Spa.
From the house there is a good bike (mountain bike) and hiking possibilities in the hills and mountains of this area. Covered swimming possibilities exist in Hronov (8km) and in Cerveny Kostelec (8km) and Kudowa Zdroj (17km).
In Cerveny Kostelec is a great recreation lake with good swimming possibilities.
In winter, a lot of attention is paid to extended trails.
