I have travelled large parts of the world, but Cyprus has stolen my heart. When I managed to find a property on a very special location, i.e. ON the beach, I didn't hesitate. The special location makes it a place you don't want to leave. Not in the least because you have everything you need : nice temperatures all year round, always sunny (99%), a quiet beach on your doorstep and within walking distance bars, restaurants and hotels with all possible amenities.
