You will love your holidays here at Nataschas Coconut Kunuku. The house were complete renovated 3 years ago, but in the traditional style. In the past a Kunuku house was the home of workers at the sugarcane plantations. You have a lot of space inside with 80 qm, a big living room, a comfortable open kitchen and a nice dining place. Also you will love the romantic sleeping room with the big 2 x 2 meter bed.
The house and the property what you rent has an own lockable entrance and the whole area is fenced. I as your host will help you with any problems and questions. I am living at the same property but with separate entrance in an appartement at the Kunuku house, but your living area is completely separated from mine.
The house is surrounded from a tropical garden with a lot of flowers and wonderful plants. You will enjoy to see here also a lot of local birds from Curacao. So a great place to relax, take a sunbath, breakfasting or drinking something nice in the evening outside. You have in the garden a barbeque, 2 deckchairs and 2 places to sit with table and chairs. And you will be surprised at all how silent and natural it is here, although the house is directly at the mainroad.
It’s a rurual neighbourhood, not many houses, most local people are living here. They are very friendly, helpful and cooperative. In front of the house you find the public busstop. The big busses drive every 2 hours, but the small busses with 9-12 seats very often without schedule. 200 meters away there is a small Supermarket, where you can buy all necessary things. A lot of the famous Curacaoan beaches are nearby, 5-15 driving minutes distance. So Santa Cruz beach, Jeremi, Cas Abou, Daai Booi, Lagun and Porto Marie.
Hallo, my name is Natascha. Since 2011 I am living on this wonderful tropical Island together with my 3 wonderful dogs, who are watching the whole property. I am very proud to have this wonderful Kunuku house and this manifold tropical garden. Sometimes tourist busses are stopping in front.
So I will be glad to say welcome to you as my guests. You will like for sure the special athmosphere, the countryside and the famous beaches in the neighbourhood!
