Welcome to our pleasant comfortable holiday home 'house enjoy' with private swimming pool and large garden. A unique place to enjoy a wonderful holiday carefree.

Due to its central location on the island, in the quiet neighborhood of Grote Berg, you will be on the most beautiful beaches of Curaçao in no time and only a fifteen minute drive from Willemstad.

The house with a large private garden has a beautiful, spacious, fully fenced plot of over 1,120m2. A private swimming pool and a paradise garden with large trees that provide plenty of shade and privacy complete the picture. The unique pool house, a recreated hut from old times, is equipped with useful utensils such as chairs to take to the beach, diving masks, pool nudels, etc. The versatility of the garden in particular offers you many opportunities to enjoy your holiday. The comfortable sun loungers around the pool invite you to relax for hours. The swimming pool is atmospherically lit in the evening, just like the pavilion with a cozy sitting area and therefore invites you to take a dip in the evenings or to review the day under the cozy pavilion while enjoying a drink.
Even during the hottest hours of the day, the outdoor shower and the spacious swimming pool of 6 x 3 meters provide sufficient cooling and the attractive, spacious roof provides plenty of shade. From early in the morning until late in the evening it is also wonderful to relax in the hammock on the veranda. These hammocks also hang from the pavilion by the swimming pool. On the covered porch you will find a large living table with six chairs where you can have a relaxed breakfast and enjoy a fresh breeze from the north-east trade wind all day long. Also on the other side of the house is another cozy covered sitting area where you can sit in the shade and enjoy the wind in the afternoon.

Our kitchen was completely renovated in 2021. You will find everything you need. It is not only equipped with a modern bean coffee machine (with espresso option) but also with a Senseo coffee machine so that you can choose how you prefer to drink your coffee. You will also find an airfryer, an electric stove, baking oven, dishwasher, kettle, sandwich maker, onion cutter, mixer, smoothie maker, etc. etc. It is as if you are at home and that is how our guests feel.

Comfort highlights: sockets with both 110 and 220 volts, adapters, hot water, not only in the kitchen but also in all bathrooms, hair dryer, washing machine up to 90 degrees, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron, air conditioners in all bedrooms, all windows and doors fitted of mosquito nets, BBQ and a large fridge with large freezer compartment. There is really nothing missing here.

The house 'house enjoy' is very suitable for two to four people for a shorter or longer holiday or to spend the winter. By placing a folding bed and/or a cot with a thick mattress, a total of 5 adults and one baby can easily have room in our house. The two bedrooms have air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The bedrooms, one of which has direct access to a bathroom, have windows on two sides and are wonderfully situated on the wind, so you do not need air conditioning. You can sleep with an open window and will be awakened in the morning by the singing of the tropical birds. The presence of mosquito nets on all windows and doors throughout the house ensures that you can open everything without being bothered by mosquitoes. Also keep these other curious animals outdoors. The ever-present wind contributes to a pleasant living environment in the home. For those who are still too hot, we have a mobile strong stand fan that you can place anywhere in the house or on the terrace, although you will absolutely not need it. You will also only have to use the air conditioners indoors on windless days, which almost never happens and keeps energy costs low.

Upon arrival, in addition to toilet paper, washing powder, fabric softener, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, hand soap and cleaning products are also available for your convenience.

We - fam. Seichter - have been spending as much time as possible on this amazing island since 1996. We have traveled a lot and have seen a lot of the world, but nowhere is it as nice as in our house on Curaçao. The cordiality of the people, the wonderful climate, the sun-drenched island with tropical birds, iguanas, beautiful trees, flowers and plants fascinates us with every visit.

The stated basic rental price is a basic price based on an occupancy of 1 to 2 persons, of which at least one is an adult. Extra persons pay €20.00 per person per night. If you prefer three bedrooms and three bathrooms, take a look at "Villa" Enjoy where we use a different basic price from three people with three bedrooms and bathrooms. Extra persons also pay €20.00 per person per night. Children under 2 years free. The internet is very good and our television receives many Dutch channels such as NPO123 and NPO123TS

Bedroom 1
The wonderfully shaded new seating area with a view of the swimming pool is located under a palapa that you can illuminate in the evening with dozens of atmospheric lights. There is always a breeze so you can enjoy the weather.
The 1100m² plot is photographed here from the other corner of the garden.
Bedroom number 1 (master bedroom) has windows on two sides so that the wind can blow in nicely. The double bed is 1.60 x 2.00 m. The room has direct access to a private bathroom. Here you have both a ceiling fan and a new air conditioning.

This photo shows the front of the house with the beautifully potted palms so that you have almost no view of the terrace.
The palms are illuminated in the evening by solar lamps.
Through the master bedroom there is access to the private bathroom. The bathroom is quite new, has a rain shower with hot water, a toilet and a sink. There is enough space to store your toiletries. The window has a built-in mosquito net.
The second bedroom also has windows on both sides through which the wind blows in wonderfully. The two single beds of 90x2.00m can be pushed together to form a double bed of 1.80x2.00m. All windows are fitted with mosquito nets.
As you can see, there is also enough space in this room to place a baby cot (on request for free). The room has a ceiling fan and a new air conditioner. There are two large built-in closets where you can store all your clothes and suitcase.
Bathroom number two located directly next to bedroom number two has a lovely shower with hot water, a toilet and sink. In addition, cupboards to store the toiletries. The window is of course also equipped with an insect screen.
Bedroom number three also has a double bed of 1.60x2.00m. This room has direct access to a small bathroom with shower and sink. From the bathroom you reach the side of the house with a cozy sitting area for reading and relaxing.

Bathroom number three with access to the outside. The sliding door gives the room just a little more space, so that in addition to sufficient cupboard and storage space, a baby cot is also no problem here.
The two easy chairs invite you to sit on the porch after breakfast and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. It is not uncommon to see an iguana sneaking through the garden or to hear the local bird 'the Trupial' happily chirping its song.
The covered porch connects to the kitchen. With the song of the birds in the garden, it is the most wonderful place to have breakfast. From here you enter directly into the modern kitchen where almost nothing is missing.
The new electric stove with oven and extractor.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. A washing machine, dishwasher, electric stove, oven, extractor hood and large refrigerator make it complete. Coffee machine and Senseo, kettle, blender and even a sandwich maker, nothing is missing!
The dining table in the lounge is also covered and the wind can blow here too. Especially in the afternoon when the sun is on the other side, it is wonderful to stay here. A high chair is available for your child upon request (free of charge).
The so-called Kunuku House is a one-to-one replica slave hut that gives the garden a special flair and serves as a shed for garden and swimming pool equipment.

In the front is the cozy seat with the second dining table behind it. The space behind is separated with a small gate so that the little ones can't just scramble to the pool.
A lovely corner has been created here for those who want to retreat from the possible crowds at the pool. The reed mats let the wind blow through so that it is really enjoyable here.
Again the side of the house with the large sinks where not only the divers but also snorkelers can rinse the seawater from their masks.

Enjoy the countless well-known but also exotic fruits that Curacao has to offer.
Completely new are the sinks for the divers where the salt water can be rinsed off. Of course you can also use this when you are not diving, for example to remove salt water from your snorkel mask.
Unfortunately, the photo is a bit unclear, but it shows how wonderfully the laundry hangs to dry. The wax spider is on the corner of the house so that the wind blows merrily around it. With the sun on it, your bedding or favorite clothing will be dry in no time.
The image of the island on the wall is easy for orientation. This way you can easily discuss where you dived and which part of the island you want to explore tomorrow.
