Please note that the new Siem Reap International Airport is much further away from the city center than the old airport. The new airport is located in the Ta Yek commune, about 50 kilometers southeast of Siem Reap city.
The travel time from the new airport to downtown Siem Reap is expected to be 45 to 90 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
If you are planning to travel to Siem Reap, please factor in the extra travel time when making your travel arrangements. You may also want to consider booking a private transfer or shuttle to avoid the hassle of public transportation please contact us.
