Our house north of the city of Rio de Janeiro was built in 2013 on a plot of 2,400 m2 in the green valley of Itaocaia, an area of ??rainforest where Darwin was already impressed during his study in 1832. He stayed in the historical slavenfazenda Itaocaia, 5 minutes walk from our house. The fazenda is still in good condition. The detached house with three bedrooms (one suite), a kitchen with large stone bar, 2 bathrooms, pool and large separate covered barbecue area overlooking the Rock Itaocaia, an impressive 400 meter high rock. This is good to climb, on foot, with a beautiful view as a reward. There are more diit kind of rocks in the area, all to climb well. The nearest beach is 10 minutes away, the trendy surfers beach of Itacoatiara is 20 minutes by car. A visit can be done in a day at the sights in Rio. All in all a wonderful place for those who want to be in nature and beach and town as an option to the corner.
We have close to our family (Claudia comes from Brazil) to build a house in a beautiful green valley and yet close to beach and town. A lovely place for those who want to relax and enjoy walking in the rain forest. By car you'll be close to the supermarket, restaurants and the beach. 5 minutes walk is a local supermarket. We also have wonderful neighbors who are always ready when needed. But you do not leave because we have a pool and a new barbecue gazebo.

Only renters who have booked through the Micazu booking calendar can write a review. Then we know for certain that the ratings are from tenants who have actually been in the holiday home.
We find reviews very important, both the positive and the negative. When evaluating your stay in a holiday home, we ask that you to take the following guidelines into account:
Reviews should be about the rented holiday home
The most useful reviews are detailed and help others make better decisions. We ask you to simply review the holiday home and leave other things out of the review.
Respect the privacy of others
Do not include email addresses, phone numbers, websites, social media accounts, and similar information from others in your review.
Reviews must be respectful
We expect you to write family friendly reviews.

Ratings that do not comply with our guidelines can be removed and will no longer be included in the average grade.
