Kas Di bon Bida

A spacious house on the Makambaplein with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and spacious terraces, partly covered. Suitable for 4 adults plus 2 children. 

Modern kitchen with, among other things. microwave, grill, oven, coffee makers. (No dishwasher yet). 

Inside = outside. There are no less than 3 outdoor terraces: 

  • A covered terrace with dining table for 8 people
  • A lounge terrace, half in the sun (slatted roof)
  • A sun terrace on the roof. Blows nicely !

Is it hot?  An outdoor shower rinses you off fresh!

A communal swimming pool, just 80 meters away, part of the park 'Exclusive', is a few seconds walk away. 

The popular It Rains Fishes restaurant is a 9-minute walk or 2 minutes by car.  The rest of the promenade 'Kaya JNE Craane' with many restaurants and bars is a few minutes further walk. 

For divers there is an outdoor cabinet to hang and rinse diving suits and gear. 

You can park your rental car on site. (fence is not electric). 

 For longer stays, we recommend using 'service cleaning'. Because after 7 or 10 days at the latest, the sheets need to be washed due to sweat and so on. (Of course washing yourself is also possible, but drying is a bit of improvising)

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

  • In case of cancellation up to 60 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • In case of cancellation from 60 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
  • If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

Bon cas Majeti is also accessible for the disabled. There are no barriers are present. Through the back can be driven with a car on one of the porches. You can park your car, if desired, self parking on site.

The swimming pool of no less than 50 m2, where you can take a refreshing dip right after arrival.
The porch is the place in and around the house where we ourselves stay the most. Lovely outside for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But also for a refreshing drink in between in the hammock or in the lounge bed, you reach the roof terrace via the spiral staircase. Also here are two sunbeds.

We have specially constructed a path with vowels, so that you can easily enter your car from your car on arrival and do not have to go through the gravel.

The Living .. If you need it, you can relax watching TV, listening to music or reading a book. There is a floor socket under the coffee table so that you can easily charge your laptop or telephone while you are working on it.

According to Caribbean tradition, Caribbean Dream is built on the wind, so that a wonderfully cooling trade wind can be felt in the house continuously.
A fully fitted open kitchen with granite countertops and breakfast bar. The bar is also a nice place for occasional snacks and drinks. And also while cooking, from the kitchen you are always in contact with the rest of your friends and family. In the kitchen there are 220V outlets and 110V
The breakfast bar has six wooden bar stools, again a great place for a snack or a drink. In the kitchen you don't miss anything on comfort! The American fridge has a large cool and separate freezer compartment, also provides ice cubes and cold water all day!
In addition to the American fridge, the kitchen has a dishwasher, combi oven, 5-burner gas comfort, but of course also a blender, coffee maker, kettle, etc., and more than enough crockery and cooking utensils.
Because of the fully opening doors and also the opened mahogany shutters, the entire house is actually connected to the outside and you constantly feel a wonderful trade wind around you.
The Master bedroom. Also at night it is between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. Sleep well with open shutters in the warm wind... All shutters in the bedrooms are equipped with mosquito screens.
Bed linen, bath and kitchen linen are included in the rent. On your arrival, the beds are made for you and the towels are ready.

The third bedroom. Just like all other bedrooms with air conditioning and a ceiling fan, in case there is insufficient wind. The mosquito net is up. Due to the location of the house and the continuous blowing, you generally have little trouble with mosquitoes in Caribbean Dream
The ensuite bathroom shared by both smaller bedrooms. Equipped with two washbasins and hair dryer. A large open shower room with thermostatic mixer, hand shower and rain shower. The bathroom doors can both be locked, so that privacy is always guaranteed.

With its total 755 m2 of land area, the villa has a spacious and beautifully landscaped tropical garden and several terraces. Here you can see a side view of the garden.
The 20 m2 large roof terrace with a magnificent 360 degree panoramic view of the 'kunuku' in the hills and views of the coastline, with its cruise ships, on the horizon. On the roof terrace you can enjoy the beautiful Bonairean sunrise and sunset from a lounger.
View from the roof terrace on the Seru Largu monument, on a hill with a height of 123 meters; this hill is called Seru Largu. Seru Largu is the fourth highest mountain of Bonaire from here you have a view over the whole of Bonaire and small Bonaire and even Venezuela
Many of our guests like to go diving. You can of course rinse your equipment at one of the many dive locations, but also just at home at Caribbean Dream, one of the options to hang your suit to dry after rinsing are these coat racks.
Have you just come out of the swimming pool, or do you just want to freshen up in the warm sun, Caribbean Dream also has a rain shower outside!

The tropical garden of Caribbean Dream is connected to the adjacent pool area of the villa. The pool area has a floor area of no less than 800 m2. The pool area also has a beautifully landscaped tropical garden full of palms.
The pool has a length of 10 meters, width 5 meters and depth one and a half meters. For enthusiasts, it is ideal for swimming laps every day!
