Hello we are Paul and Antoinette, bon vivants with a great love for Bonaire. We enjoy working in the Netherlands, but as soon as winter sets in, we exchange the cold for the warmth of this beautiful island.

As winter visitors, we fully enjoy the relaxed Caribbean life: the azure blue sea, the beautiful nature and the friendly atmosphere. Bonaire feels like a second home to us, and we would like to share that feeling with others. Discount in July and August !

Looking forward to a holiday to Bonaire? Lucky you! Bring a snorkel set or diving gear, you can also rent it on the island. Bonaire is one of the insanely beautiful Caribbean islands and is known for its fantastic underwater world and stunning beaches. Of course you can go diving, snorkeling, windsurfing or just relax on the beach?
Bonaire is the quietest island of the ABC islands and has a friendly, village feel.
Without transport, car or scooter you won't get very far on Bonaire if you want to have a nice lunch or dinner, go to Kralendijk or go snorkeling at a unique spot. There are too many beautiful places on Bonaire that you can't go to without a car or scooter. In short: if you want to see something of the island, you absolutely need a rental car or scooter!

On the west coast of Bonaire, you will find yellow and white slave houses in two places where the slaves who used to work on salt extraction could spend the night. When you drive south from Kralendijk, the slave houses are absolutely not to be missed. You will first encounter the white ones and a little further on are the yellow slave houses along the road. It is a special place to stop and imagine how the slaves lived here at the time.

If you drive south, it is not to be missed because from Salt Pier you can already see the gigantic mountains of salt. These mountains are followed by the pink salt pans that are part of the Pekelmeer. In this area, there is also a good chance that you can spray flamingos.
You have the best chance not only at the Pekelmeer but also at the Gotomeer in the north. You can first drive to the viewpoint at Lake Goto for a nice view and to be able to see the flamingos from there.

The mangroves are part of Bonaire's most important ecosystem. What is great fun to do is to paddle through the mangroves of Lac Bay with a kayak (with a glass bottom!) under the guidance of an experienced guide.
Bonaire has a number of viewpoints that rise high above the island, they are all easy to reach.

Seru Largu
One of the most famous viewpoints on the island is located on the fourth highest mountain of Bonaire. Seru Largu means 'big hill' in Papiamento, is centrally located and super easy to reach. From here you look out over Kralendijk, the coastline and the interior.

Lake Goto
In the north of Bonaire lies the large Goto Lake. By following the signs to the viewpoint you arrive at a higher viewpoint with a beautiful view over – yes – Lake Goto. Will you be able to spot the flamingos in the distance?

Altamira Ujo
In this same region you will find viewpoint Altamira Ujo which gives you a view over the city of Rincón. Perfect to combine with a visit to the city and/or Lake Goto. Fun fact: Rincón was founded in the 16th century and is the oldest settlement in the former Netherlands Antilles!

Klein Bonaire, this uninhabited island is located about 800 meters from the coast of Bonaire, near Kralendijk. On Klein Bonaire there are no beach beds, no restaurants and hardly any shelter to sit in the shade. What should you go to Klein Bonaire for? The snow-white sandy beach and mighty beautiful underwater world with beautiful coral, beautiful fish and turtles.

Washington Slagbaai National Park, this National Park is located in the northwest of Bonaire and is the largest National Park in the Caribbean. You can drive off road here, spot various animals such as flamingos, snorkel, dive and of course relax on the beach. At the entrance of the park you will receive a map with the sights on it.

Essentials for visiting the National Park
- You have to take care of your own drinks and food. There is no place (anymore) where you can buy something.
- Be sure to bring your snorkeling or diving gear because there are several places where you can really snorkel and dive. Our favorite: Wayaka II.
- You must be in possession of a Bonaire nature fee. With the money you pay for this ticket, the nature parks of Bonaire are maintained.

Some beaches on Bonaire
- 1000 Steps Beach
- Bachelor's Beach
- Pink Beach
- Donkey Beach
- Te Amo Beach (where there are also two food trucks!)
- Sorobon (windsurfing hotspot)
- Wayaka II (Washington Slagbaai National Park)
- Boca Slagbaai (Washington Slagbaai National Park)
- No Name Beach (on Klein Bonaire)

Diving school available at the resort.
Beach and sea within walking distance.
Surf and kite school nearby
