In the heart of the Ardennes in the municipality of Manhay is located in the middle of nature "La Chartreuse", built in 1873 by Monsieur Piedboeuf, the founder of Jupiler beer.
Intended as Maison de maître, a country house for hunting and a base in nature.
This place has had many important tasks in the battle of the Ardennes and even an Indian Maharaja has lived with its harem. 14 years ago this place was for our love at first sight.
The former coach house that comes with this has recently been completely renovated, equipped with all luxury and is now rented as a 4 person gîte / holiday home.
We want to give our guests the feeling that they come home and do not have to think of anything to take away, except for good walking shoes or rubber boots to enjoy 400 hectares of forest where the coach house is located.
Furthermore, there is plenty to make a start with a wonderful weekend or midweek.
And even if you have forgotten your toothbrush, we can take care of that!
The box spring beds are made up the clean bath linen and soaps are ready. It is warm and cozy and everything is there to give you a warm welcome.
? All you have to do is enjoy this wonderful place.
The house has a lovely kitchen with a sturdy dining table, a spacious living room with a fireplace of course.
On the first floor are 2 2 person bedrooms with a double bed, and a lovely spacious bathroom, toilet, bath / shower.
The house has a land of 89 acres, bordering the forest. Your dog is also very welcome.
Peace, space and luxury in an authentic country house with an eye for detail. Around 400 hectares of walking forest and where a roaring fire is waiting for you on your return. All you have to do is enjoy this wonderful place.

Only renters who have booked through the Micazu booking calendar can write a review. Then we know for certain that the ratings are from tenants who have actually been in the holiday home.
We find reviews very important, both the positive and the negative. When evaluating your stay in a holiday home, we ask that you to take the following guidelines into account:
Reviews should be about the rented holiday home
The most useful reviews are detailed and help others make better decisions. We ask you to simply review the holiday home and leave other things out of the review.
Respect the privacy of others
Do not include email addresses, phone numbers, websites, social media accounts, and similar information from others in your review.
Reviews must be respectful
We expect you to write family friendly reviews.
This is not allowed:
Ratings that do not comply with our guidelines can be removed and will no longer be included in the average grade.
