The chalet was built in 2010 and is located on the southern slope of the village of Walchen (municipality of Piesendorf). It is very sunny and quiet and has a fantastic unobstructed view of the valley and the Hohe Tauern.

The house has 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are 3 toilets in total. 3 bedrooms have a double bed of 1.80 x 2.00 and one bedroom has 2 single beds of 0.90 x 2.00 that can be placed together or apart as desired. The largest bedroom has an extra bed with a trundle bed (with slatted bases, 2 x 2.00 x 0.80)
The master bedroom with double bed on the 1st floor has a private bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin and provides access to the balcony at the front.
The ground floor has a spacious hall and adjoining 3 bedrooms and a separate bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. One of the bedrooms has an extra washbasin. On this floor there is also a laundry room with Miele washing machine and dryer, ironing board and steam iron.
The house is tastefully and comfortably furnished.
The kitchen is very complete, everything you are used to at home can also be found here, so you will not easily miss out. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, (combi) microwave, oven, 4-burner electric hob, kettle, toaster, toaster, (cheese) fondue pan, raclette machine, Magimix food processor, Nespresso with milk frother and a quick filter coffee machine. Plates, cutlery and glasses are available in abundance, also for the children.

The cozy fireplace can be seen from the sitting area and dining area. There is a large LG SAT HD flat screen with all Dutch channels, Germany, BBC, CNN, Eurosport, Raiuno, etc. There is a radio/CD/DVD Blueray player and a large number of CD/DVDs. The master bedroom has a 2nd TV with DVD player. You can use internet/Wifi for free throughout the house.

A 3rd toilet can be found on the landing on the 1st floor.

The house has a sunbathing lawn with 5 sun loungers and a beautiful spacious terrace with a large table with 10 chairs and an awning where you can eat outside and possibly have a BBQ. If it gets a bit chilly, you can pull out the windshield and turn on the outdoor heating.

For the children there is a Kiddy Guard stair gate, socket protection, 2 camping beds with bedding, 2 high chairs with high chair reducer, a children's table with 3 chairs, a baby bath, toilet, 2 changing mats and children's cutlery/plates/cups.

The entire house has underfloor heating.

In the garage there is a shoe dryer for 10 pairs of shoes, 2 wooden sledges and a ski storage room.

The beds are made upon arrival.
Use of the washing machine and dryer, Wifi, SAT TV, high chairs and cots, water, gas and electricity is included.

In the summer you can use the Piesedorf Fun+Card for free, which gives you a lot of discounts or even free on various entrances, attractions, etc. Upon presentation of this card, the Hinkelstein (outdoor) pool in Piesendorf is free.

Kaprun and Zell am See are a few kilometers away. In Kaprun you can ski on the Kitzsteinhorn almost until summer and early in autumn; in Zell am See in winter on the Schmittenhöhe and in Kaprun on the Maiskogelbahn. From Kaprun Maiskogel there is a new lift directly to the glacier. Within walking distance behind the house is the 'Erlebnisberg' with the Naglkopf lift. Ideal for beginners and children!
In the summer you can take wonderful walks or bike rides or enjoy the beautiful lake where you can swim, sail or rent a boat.
Between Kaprun and Zell am See is a 2 x 18 hole golf course. In Mittersill, about 15 minutes drive, another 18 hole golf course.
There are 2 bicycles, 2 golf trolleys, 1 ladies golf set and 2 men's golf sets at your disposal free of charge.
