Tauern lodge

Krimml (1100 meters) is located on the border of Salzbürgerland and Tyrol. The village of Krimml is known for the Krimml Falls, with over 380 meters the highest waterfall in Europe. Our lodge is located just above the village center of Krimml. The supermarket and bakery are within walking distance (approx. 3 minutes walk). The village is small, cozy and Austrian gemutlich with a few shops and of course an intersport, some restaurants and a small apres ski bar.

The lodge is furnished in Alpine Style and completed in Sept 2019. In the morning you can drink a freshly brewed Nespresso with warm, whipped milk on the authentic, covered balcony with a fantastic view of the mountains and a forest. Or do you gather around the wooden sitting area with dining table to enjoy fresh, warm rolls from the bakery and enjoy the view? After a wonderful walk or exhausting ski tour, you can enjoy the Finnish sauna and relax in the sun loungers. An invigorating shower in one of our luxurious bathrooms is a treat afterwards. A number of excellent restaurants (chef level) can be found in the area. Such as Restaurant Weyerhof and Schloss Mittersill. The luxurious Kitzbuhel is also worth a visit, 40 minutes away. Countless luxury boutiques, bars and restaurants are worth a visit. Our lodge unites luxury, outdoor life and gourmet dining and the beautiful nature of Hohe Tauern. Pure enjoyment!

Sporty update :
In collaboration with Intersport, users of the Wasserfal lodge can use a free ski locker when renting skis. No lugging skis and you can change in a luxurious and heated changing room right next to the lift. If you want to make use of this including a 10% discount on ski rental, please let us know. Soon a nice discount will also be available for the rental of e-bikes. Special routes have been created in Krimml that young and old can enjoy with an E-bike.,
