We felt very very comfortable from the first moment. Carine and Toon are exactly the hosts you could wish for. Always there when you need it and yet discreetly in the background. The location on the lake is unique. The house is absolutely functional and functionally equipped and convinces with discreet furnishings without unnecessary kitsch. In the super-bright living area, even in winter, the large windows on the sides and to the terrace make you feel as if you are sitting in the great outdoors for the whole holiday.
Nothing stands in the way of winter sports fun on cross-country skis with the lake and the cross-country ski trails, most of which are groomed by local cross-country skiers on the forest paths around the lake. We had our own skis with us, but we could have used skis provided by Carine and Toon. In addition, 2 pairs of professional snowshoes were available for extended hikes in the forests. A special highlight was the free use of the ice drill and the 2 top ice fishing rods provided. So we were able to try our hand at this area. Even a smoker was available. The catch quota was not exhilarating, but that was certainly due to the angler himself ;-).
The daily sauna sessions rounded off the absolute relaxation pleasure. We would also like to highlight the house climate. Since the whole house is deliberately lined with untreated wood inside, it not only exudes a wonderful visual charm, but also provides a wonderful indoor climate through the material used, which will certainly please allergy sufferers.
We have already moved into many holiday homes, but this one is by far one of our top favourites.

We had a great holiday in the cozy holiday home with amazing views and location.
Special thanks to the two super friendly hosts who always came to our aid!
The house is beautifully located on the lake, right next to the forest and hills. In winter, everything was taken care of, whether hiking, cross-country skiing or tobogganing.
There was a very nicely groomed cross-country ski trail 20 minutes away in Stugun. To get to the house by car in snow, you certainly need four-wheel drive tires. Our snow chains were not enough.
The house was always cozy, warm and tastefully decorated.
The only deduction for us as a family was a missing "normal" table for eating and playing. But since our children were big enough, it worked out that way.
The bedrooms are cozy, but not suitable as a playroom for children in terms of size.
The sauna was absolutely top!
Overall it was a great holiday and we say thank you to Carine and Toon for the hospitality!
