The house was built to modern standards in terms of insulation, etc
But the outside is traditionally Ardennes.
the layout is as follows.
at the bottom: a cellar.
Ground floor: garage, lockup, living room, kitchen, cool storage room, hall, toilet, bathroom 1, meter cupboard/laundry room.
1st floor: landing, three bedrooms,
bathroom 2 with toilet.
2nd floor: mansard with double bed, attic.
The entire house has a beautiful and very easy to maintain tiled floor.
The bedroom floors consist of solid oak planks.
The concrete stairs are covered with bluestone, making them very quiet:-).
The house is ideally located as a base for walks, mountain biking and exploring other Ardennes locations
the garden is spacious and almost flat, which makes ball games enjoyable.
There is a nice terrace and a beautiful young oak tree at the back of the garden, under which you can relax in the summer.
