Welcome to Haus Alpenglühen in sunny Kötschach-Mauthen in the province of Carinthia, 12 kilometers from Italy.
The Chalet is located on the Sonnepiste and from the living room and terrace you have a GORGEOUS view of the mountains.
Kötschach-Mauthen and the unspoilt Lesachtal have a lot to offer in all seasons of the year.
Due to the SOUTHERN location in Carinthia, the sun shines here much more often with wonderful temperatures.
The large SKI AREA of Nassfeld (110 km of slopes) is half an hour's drive away and a small ski area is on your doorstep!
Nice for the children who can see skiing from the Chalet.

The Chalet is fully equipped, FREE WiFi, 1 large basket of wood free for the lovely wood stove, beautiful open kitchen with nice dining area, lounge set on the south-facing terrace with beautiful views.
Upstairs 3 bedrooms with box spring beds and the master bedroom made of Zirben wood.
Luxury bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet.

Dear tenant,
My name is Irene and I have been the proud owner of Haus Alpenglühen since 2021, and have been coming to Kötschach-Mauthen myself for over 10 years.
Due to its southern location, you can enjoy the untouched nature here every season, where you can enjoy walking, cycling, swimming, skiing, skating and a day trip to Italy is only 12 kilometers from Kötschach.
The people are very welcoming and friendly and it really feels like coming home here!

Are you also looking forward to a skiing holiday? Dec. 2020 and Jan. 2021 lots of snow!!! Now also in winter 2021-2022. Slopes are great in Kötschach and Nassfeld. Our house is also ideal for families with children, especially with the children's slopes of Kötschach within walking distance.

A 10-minute walk from our house, the Kotschach ski area is ideal for beginners / children and sledding
Ski map Nassfeld about 30 minutes from the house Alpenruhe to the slopes. You can of course also take the bus, then you get off at the gondola

Cross-country trails along the Gail from Kötschach to St Daniel also wonderful for walking or cross-country skiing. Start at 1 km from our house. Rent cross-country gear at Sport 2000 in Kötschach about €8 per day

Nice wide, quiet slopes. In Zettersfeld (± 30 minutes) or Nassfeld (± 25 minutes with free ski bus that departs near our chalet) Small ski area in the village itself. Ideal for beginners and small children. Photo Dec 2022
