Holiday homes in Mörel

Mörel is one of the most popular winter sports resorts in Switzerland, and this is no surprise because it has all the ingredients for a great holiday. The village is located in the beautiful district of Valais, at the foot of the giant mountains Jungfrau and Eigen, not far from the border with Italy. Mörel is seen as the gateway to the Aletsch Arena, the ski area around the Aletsch glacier, and the slopes in the area are well maintained and not very difficult. This makes Mörel a popular destination for families with children. There is a beautiful children's area at the valley station of the gondola, where the little ones can practice calmly. The village itself is also a lovely place to be. It has some nice boutiques, restaurants and welcoming cafes, so there are plenty of options for shopping and going out.

  • Mörel's history dates back to the Middle Ages. From the 11th to the 14th century, the town was a county of the historic region of ‘Savoys’.
