In Vale da Palha (Valley of the Reed) you are in the middle of the Portuguese countryside, surrounded by fruit orchards and only 10 km from the beach. Pick some fruit from the garden and experience the peace after a day of beach or city. In the garden you will find, depending on the season, apples, prunes, figs, oranges, lemons and culinary herbs.
The cottage has two terraces, one at the front and one at the back. From the back terrace you have a clear view over the valley. In the morning you can enjoy the birds that greet the morning sun.
The cottage is the perfect base to nearby coastal towns such as São Martinho de Porto and Nazaré, or historic cities such as Alcobaça, Coimbra, Óbidos and of course Lisbon.
Besides 'Casa Azul' there are two more houses with private terraces. In addition, there is a common room with fireplace where you can catch up in the evening about the discoveries of the day.
All cottage are equipped with all comforts and a stock of books and DVDs for the evenings.
Upon arrival towels and kitchen towels are ready and the beds are made.
