This fully furnished 4-person holiday apartment (free WIFI) with beautiful views is located in the rustic town of Eisenschmitt.
This holiday apartment is located on the 1st floor and has two terraces, one of which is covered, with garden furniture and a spacious garden. Approximately 500 m2 is fenced for dogs.
From the balcony and terraces you have a beautiful view of Eisenschmitt.
Eisenschmitt is located between forests with various hiking and mountain bike trails. Eisenschmitt is a state-recognized climatic health resort and UNESCO Geopark.
Near Eisenschmitt you will find the famous Himmerod Abbey. You can see the tower from the house. Not only is this Abbey a sight to see, but you can also enjoy a delicious dinner in the restaurant with outdoor terrace after the gate on the left. On the other side of the village, at approximately the same height, is the Köhlerstube. You can also enjoy delicious food there for a small price. The schnitzels are beaten by hand. The price list is in our house. The tourist town of Manderscheid is nearby (11 km from the holiday home). What makes Manderscheid so famous are the two castles from the 13th century and the beautiful recreational swimming pool. Trier, Luxembourg, the Moselle, Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel are nice excursions in the area.
The Eifel Park is a fifteen-minute drive away in Gondorf. A wildlife and amusement park with various attractions such as a toboggan run, slides and water roller coaster. In the wildlife park in Daun you can drive among the animals by car. You can get out at various places and feed the animals. There is also a falcon show, restaurant and playground that are definitely recommended.
During the warm summer days, a visit to Meerfelder Maar is also highly recommended (9 km from the holiday apartment).
You can also cast a fishing line at the trout farm at Himmerod Abbey. For hikers there is a beautiful route from the source at the church in the village to Himmerod Abbey.
You can drink a delicious German beer at the Köhlerstube and Gasthof an der Salm (next to the Church). Of course also something else. At the Gasthof an der Salm you can also order in Dutch.
