Casa La Luz

Our apartment is located in the old, Spanish part of the village of Puerto de Mogan in the southwest of Gran Canaria. This old fishing village is located on the coast and the warm air currents create a microclimate, which means the weather is always better here than on the rest of the island. It is even said that the Barenco (the valley) of Mogan has the best climate in the world (NASA report).

Casa la Luz is located on the hills and, as the crow flies, 50 meters from the beach and in the middle of the small center of Puerto de Mogan. Restaurants and shops (including the famous Little Venice, an area of Canarian houses completely covered in Bougainvillea), as well as the marina are within walking distance.
The view from the apartment is beautiful, you overlook the valley, the boulevards, the beach, the mountains and all around the sea! You have to make a small climb for this, the house is accessible via a few small streets, with large stairs.

The apartment is fully furnished, has two floors and a communal roof terrace above.
On the first floor there is a living room with open kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a spacious double bedroom with plenty of closet space.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, oven, ceramic 4-burner stove, microwave and toaster.
The living room has a large, cozy dining area from which you have a beautiful view of the village.
On the second floor there is a second living room with an excellent sofa bed and a second bathroom with shower, bathtub, a second toilet and a spacious wardrobe. The living room has satellite television, an audio system and a bookcase with some reading books, travel guides and information about the area and the village, and board games.
This living room has a large balcony with a fantastic view. The balcony has a table with four chairs, a parasol and two comfortable seats.
In addition to this balcony, there is a large, communal roof terrace on the top floor, which can be reached by the stairs next to the front door. Our boiler is also located here.
